How 14 year old me felt every beginning of judo class
I think it’s weird and annoying that there’s this societal push for “let women be feminine again!!!” when there has still never been any acceptance for masculine women
if you think for even just a second how fucking crazy bonkers it is that women are so frequently kept from being protagonists or important or fully realized characters when its like. That is literally 50% of the world population. Half of all people (more or less. hopefully more as time marches on!) are women. And you look at media and think about how many protagonists are men and their best friends are men and the ensemble cast is 80-100% men and the fandoms are about men and the romances are about men. well. YOU GO INSANE
I despise when men try the "perfect world" argument with me.
"What if we were in a perfect world, would prostitution be okay then? What if we were in a perfect world, would you be okay with surrogacy? If there's no financial gain, then it should be okay, right?" 😏
No, I'm not playing your games. I'm never going to say that female exploitation is okay in a "perfect" world, and you can't make me. Obviously it's not a perfect world if people are still using women for parts, not that that ever occurs to them. It's just them trying to wheedle you into loosening your grip on your morals. If they can get you to agree that there's nothing "inherently" wrong with these things, then you can bet their next step is going to be normalizing it in other scenarios.
The answer will be no all the time because in a perfect world, misogyny wouldn’t exist. In a perfect world, financial issues wouldn’t exist. In a perfect world, women all over the world will be able to get a K-12 education. In a perfect world, women all over the world would be able to pursue any career choice they want without worrying about glass ceilings and condescension. In a perfect world, women wouldn’t be viewed as servants and incubators.
In a perfect world, men would also learn to shut the fuck up. In a perfect world, men would treat women as their equals instead of their inferiors. In a perfect world, men wouldn’t rape or abuse.
The answer will always be no.
do you think these so-called liberals ever notice that they just hate feminism? any insinuation of female oppression puts them on edge. any mention of men as an oppressive force makes them distrustful. they comb through women's blogs, searching keywords like "feminism" and "sexism" for proof that we're "terfy". it's "terfy" if you say women are often innocent victims of abuse, it's "terfy" to say men are overwhelmingly our abusers, and what they really mean is it's uncomfortably feminist. what they really mean is they view feminism as unnecessary and feminists as the enemy. do you think they realize?
why do so many males sincerely value their cock briefly feeling nice over the wellbeing of women. how are people not constantly upset over this it’s sooo fucking normalized.
I really dislike how alot of autistic characters are said to be stereotypes, because a lot of the time it's just that they aren't LSN/do not represent someone's exact experiences.
One example is autistic Barbie. A lot of people are calling it a stereotype or iPad baby when it is just a representation of higher support needs and aac. Like sure, there are some things I dislike about it (I really wish alot of the line could be added to any Barbie but I understand why some wouldn't like that) but the ability for it to represent a HSN isn't one of those.
STOP. PUTTING. THE. MATRIX. ON. LISTS. OF MOVIES. BY. FEMALE. DIRECTORS.!!
IF YOU THINK THIS IS ACCEPTABLE, JUST KNOW THAT EVERY TIME YOU DO THIS I BECOME MORE EVIL AND TWISTED...
Society...
I watched the trailer for Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, and I was like, this was directed by a woman?? It's screaming of some guy jerking off and calling it art. And. Well. Lo and behold. 🙄
lol could you imagine seeing a grotesque fetishized parody of your identity hit the mainstream . I am glad us lesbians never have to deal with that !
People are so indoctrinated by patriarchy that mentioning something neutral like "men on average are physically stronger than women" will get you accused of saying women are inferior to men. Like, nobody said that, you are the one who believes physical strength equals worthiness and value as a human being and is projecting it on completely neutral assumptions.
Swinging at the hornets nest here (the “sex work is work” crowd won’t like this one lol) but there was a post going around about like “if you work in hospitality and you think you see a sex worker, no you didn’t. Keep your mouth shut and let them make their money” is honestly sending me. As many of you know, one of my jobs is working front desk at a hotel and like no lads…we can’t “look the other way” at times. Yes, we know when the working girls check in (many are regulars who are open about it, plus after working their long enough you Know™️ when a woman is because you can clock the signs) and of course we can’t stop them but there are times when you literally have to say something. Here are a couple of instances that have happened on my shifts alone:
-I was checking in two girls and knew something was off and asked to see both their ID’s. Only one had a passport and her 18th birthday was literally a week ago. The other one handed me her high school student card. We had to call the police when their pimp came in and started making threats bc we refused to check them in.
-a sex worker checked in the night before and a housekeeper went into the room the next morning and found the woman in a bloody mess. There were chunks of human tissue scattered throughout the room (the housekeeper quit after that. Honestly, housekeepers are literally on the front lines of the bullshit but that’s another story)
-something about a “couple” was offfffffff at check in. The woman was standing with her hands behind her back, had her eyes glued to the floor, and wouldn’t answer questions despite her name being on the reservation. The man was answering for her. When I asked to see her ID, he hands it to me, and when I handed it to her, her arms were covered in bruises. We didn’t let them check in
-there are two properties and one of them has an agreement with a women’s shelter. I’ve checked in women into one property only to see them come in months later to the other property under the womens shelters’ reservation with bruises and broken limbs (many of whom are indigenous women).
So yeah bottom line: with the World Cup soon approaching, all of us -front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, the kitchen staff, sales, you name it all departments- have had to do extensive modules on clocking the signs of human trafficking. You can’t just look the other way because it can mean missing the underaged girl or preventing horrific violence. Yes we have our regulars and yes sometimes it is what it is but no you can’t just look the other way and let them “secure the bag” because I guarantee there’s a pimp in the lobby/parking lot who’s the one getting the bag at her expense.
I worked for housing at my COLLEGE and I encountered sex trafficking there too; multiple times 💔💔💔 I feel like people have such a skewed perception of sex work. So much of it is forced. And I know that calling authorities can escalate the situation and make it more dangerous/lethal, but "don't be a prude; let them get their bag" is not the right tone here.
At the moment you make a critique of patriarchy suddenly all men are black brown disabled mentally ill poor immigrant queer refugee polyamorous diabetic toothless from a developing country and all women are white rich warlord 1stworlders
I can't verbalize this in the way I want to, and I don't want to make any woman feel like she's not allowed to complain. But every time I see the uterus personified as an evil entity and periods treated as bad, I low-key cringe. No, your body isn't inherently meant to be pregnant, and no your period is not a punishment for failing to be pregnant. You're not failing at being a woman because you aren't having babies. Your body is not turning against you because you did something wrong. Unless you suffer from an illness that exacerbates your periods, you're just going through a neutral, dare I say good because it's a sign you're healthy, human female experience. This way of thinking feels like the modernized opinions of a medieval priest.
Trans ideology be like “sex and gender are different” ok so why trans women want to join in female sports? You compete with your body not your pronouns
Shocker: Male is mad that women talk about women’s rights
holding blossoming male radfems accountable for what they did while they were still sexist will make them annoyed and then they will go back to sexism.
that blood is on your hands, radfems
I don't know why this is happening because I thought I blocked you, and responding is probably wasting my time more, but move the fuck on, man. You are not welcome, get over yourself.
You are an abuser; to argue you are now otherwise is to insinuate abusers can be rehabilitated and/or their actions forgotten. Guilt tripping women on radblr (or elsewhere) for having boundaries, standards, and ethics, only makes your character more self-evident.
If one or many radical feminists do not consider you a radical feminist for being a man—abusive or not—you are in no position to demand or cry otherwise, you do not need to be dignified with a response. Women do not owe a man anything, and men are not entitled to anything from women, which is all doubly so in the case of our liberation. There is no blood on the hands of a woman who says no and/or doesn't want men around her uncritically, for the blood is on the men, they are autonomous.
Um, I am an ex-abuser. I think you missed the part where I said that I stopped beating my wife the moment I came out as a femboy. The decade of abuse is over because it was only caused by my dysphoria. and if it's not over, its because you all made me this way, so its your fault.
By denying ex-abusers, you are turning away male Allies.
And without male allies, feminism will die
So which is it? accept me or forever be a third rate citizen. Choice is yours.
To not accept abusers is to stoop to their level. You are abusing me by rejecting me from your community. By not accepting abusers you are "giving up" on feminism forever and "admitting defeat".
You literally sound indistinguishable from an mra incel right now. If your feminism is so shallow that you revert back to sexism the moment women doubt you, your support was never genuine in the first place.
“How dare you call suicide selfish you’ve obviously never been suicidal” no so I’ve been suicidal and definitely still think that a man killing himself in the family room of his wife’s dream house leaving her so traumatized she has to move is selfish.
As is the woman killing herself in her bed for her children to find.
...as is the person found dead on the news for their friends to learn about later from some pathetic fucking note.
Suicide is cowardice. It is destruction. It is selfish in every way. I too have been suicidal, and /it is never worth it/.
You’re right but talking about male violence right now
No. I'm sorry but I'm /sick to death/ of people /shutting down important conversations/ to go "no, only this demographic".
This isn't an MRA or feminist get-together. This is Tumblr. Besides the fact that my message stands /regardless/ of who you're talking about or trying to fuck with.
You know where the "make new post" button is
You know how to fuck yourself
And I do it well
1. lmao
2. Is the act itself selfish, or is it the situation surrounding it selfish?
All of the examples are of people being discovered in particular ways. When you're dead, you're incredibly un-able, you don't control the conditions. If someone has made an effort to minimize the mess post-death, well. None of these posts reference anyone who has made an effort.
They do have the ability to control the conditions of where they do it though, it's not like the body only ends up in the house for any family member to stumble upon by accident. A deliberate choice of how and where to do it has to be made pre-death. I personally think that aspect of it is what's selfish, I don't think just wanting to die or making an effort to go somewhere else to do it are selfish.
