those two people got mcr tickets and didnt even survive to fucking see mcr. after everything. hours in the heat. that is not normal. nissan stadium needs to revise its water policy, compensate the families of the dead, and issue a public apology. anything less is a disservice to people who are fucking DECEASED. theyre dead. they cant come back. they cant buy 6 dollar bottles of water now.

One of the big things I think these 'it should be acceptable to leave concrit on fanfic even if the author isn't looking for it' people are missing is that giving constructive feedback is also a skill and they usually don't have it

I’m serious though. When your life reaches a degree of suckage, you find yourself having to look elsewhere for anything at all to talk about. The things going on in your life are trauma dumping. Your past is probably also trauma dumping. So you have to get really weird about specific things or hope that others want to talk to you, because very quickly people are going to develop an aversion to you and the way your life sucks. Unless you just don’t talk about it

Taylor Farms is facing attention on multiple fronts. The produce supplier has been connected to a cyclospora outbreak tied to shredded lettuce sold through supermarkets and fast-food chains across the country.

At the same time, older reporting about the company's use of prison labor has reentered the conversation, raising new concerns about its labor practices.

What's happening?

According to Futurism, a 2023 report by Prison Legal News identified Taylor Farms as one of several Arizona companies that contracted labor from Arizona's Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry through Arizona Correctional Industries. Under that arrangement, the state charged companies $4.75 an hour for the labor, while incarcerated workers in Arizona could earn no more than $1.50 an hour.

One fun fact about me is that I actually studied fanfictions and how fandoms were created thanks to star trek in order to write my master thesis about it. I wanted to do a PhD on this subject even, and maybe tell my university that we should start an initiative to preserve printed fandom fanzines because a lot of star trek fanzines were in fact not kept by their owners. Then I realised along the way that I hate working on academic stuff.
