Colin kissed his best friend Penelope only days before finding out she is the infamous Lady Whistledown. He is now confused and furious, but her eventful arrival at Aubrey Hall to join the Bridgertons for Christmastide helps him understand her reasons to start her column. He and his family become determined to give Penelope a good Christmas, and show her how loved she is.
(Regency, angsty 1st chapter, but mostly fluff with HEA)
This is the Worthwhile Fight
On a late night call with Pen, Colin confesses how low he's been really feeling — compelling her to tell him how loved he is. Now Colin must confront his real feelings for his best friend, whilst also learning some new things about himself.

(My favourite Taylor Swift album inspired me to write this one. A tale of misunderstandings, mental health and neurodivergence, with Polin finding their way to each other on the run-up to Christmas)

Penelope woke up with a heavy hand on her waist and a wall of warmth on her back. She turned around in his arms to look at that beautiful face; the chiselled jaw, the perfect lips. He was so pretty. Her movement woke him. And there they were: the saddest pair of eyes she had ever seen. But then, hers probably matched his in devastation.
