Hey I was wanting to start selling art in the artist alley of conventions but was wondering if there were any types of selling permits or insurance I would need to get prior to applying for a convention?

Hey! Awesome, they are a lot of fun! (a lot of work, but it’s worth it!)I think all conventions require you to have market stall insurance (I got mine for 6 months and it was about $160, through AAMI).Stalls themselves range from about $250 - $400, depending on the convention, which can take a lot out of your budget, so my only advice is make sure you have a lot of stuff, or go in with a friend for a table, which will halve all costs. :)Happy conventioning! :)
