I still have very few readers, but I am very glad that someone is interested in my posts. At the end of the year, I decided to make a sale for any garments from my store. This applies to individual orders too.
Every time they order something from me, all the proceeds go to the development of the store, the development of new collections and costumes. Therefore, everyone reading this can help me create as much as possible!
Discounts will last until December 31, so you have time to make yourself or a friend an individual gift for next year.

Don't sew at night
I have a little horror story for those who also constantly sew at night: In a dark-dark city, in a dark-dark apartment, in a dark-dark room, Anastasia was sitting and sewing a black-black frock coat ... With bare hands!!! *tam-tam-taaam* ... Because my electricity went out
Again, I started preparing for the LARP game in two weeks and barely made it on time. Damn deadlines!
It also took much longer because of a few things: 1. I used the pad stitching technology for the first time 2. I decided to do many of the operations by hand, as this flock coat should look as historical as possible 3. One of the precious evenings I sat without electricity and did the pad stitches almost in the dark
But I didn’t let the difficulties break me down (at least before finishing sewing) and did everything on time. I hope I will soon post photos of the finished coat.
Good luck to all deadliners;)
I have a store on Etsy and now a sale for everything has started there, since all my clothes are suitable for Halloween. The discount also applies to individual orders. So if you come up with an interesting image, we can create it together :)

My studies suddenly led me to the decision to create this costume. It was actually created for a term paper, which is pretty cool. I have always believed that you need to combine any job with what you really like.
At first I made several variations of costumes in different styles: Middle Ages, steampunk, cyberpunk, costumes of the samurai and the Polish gentry. I considered the last one the most interesting and successful, since it could be connected with the "Hearts of Stone" DLC. I used Olgierd von Everec and Geralt's costumes at the wedding as references, as well as portraits of real Polish nobles.
Unfortunately, I have no photos of the sewing process of the suit itself. But it was an interesting process. Kontusz could be turned inside out and worn in two different colors. I already sold this costume to @staya_cosplay (instagram). Hopefully she will take many beautiful photos soon. And I will make myself a new kontusz and demonstrate how universal it is.
Special thanks to @lesikaholod for participating as Ciri, taking over many organizational issues and getting to know Kseniya. I still hope we will continue to work together on other looks. ____________________________________________________ For Ciri's figure, I redrawn from scratch a drawing by another author in the original image. I didn't think that I would post these sketches anywhere, so I want to say that I do not claim authorship of this pose and thanks to this artist, whose nickname I do not know.

Short disclaimer: Most pictures show clothes of royalty, aristocracy, and burgoisie as their clothes weren’t worn as much and especially not for labour, which is the issue with farmers/workers’ clothes, which also were reused quite often, whether to sew new clothes or have rags. So please keep this in mind!!
It really is very European-centric as I am European as well, and I apologise for it if you expected more from it. I definitely lack the knowledge to determine what are accurate portrayals of other cultures, and to find content for them is really difficult as well. This is why I would encourage you to submit any resources you have to my blog! If you have any book recs or know good pages, please let me know!
Another edit/note: Pinterest has changed a lot since I made the post, so you need to be signed in now to see more than the first row of the boards, I’m really sorry about that! (Also I tested all the links and on my original post they still work, if you’re having isues with that.)
Wow, where have you been before :)
Seriously, very cool
A few years ago, after many hours of playing The Witcher 3, I wanted to make a new costume design for Ciri. And then I completely sewed it myself. It was especially interesting for me to sew harem pants and kontusz (sleeveless jacket). Ciri - @lesikaholod Photographer - Ksenia Rogutenok Kelpie - Moroshka Werewolf victim - me
