Real talk though? It makes so much sense for Blake to be into Yang’s kinda awkward attempts at flirting.

Cuz like... “You’ve got a really good... brain.” Yes, it’s dorky and not eloquent like... at all, but it’s also sweet and so, so sincere. Yang likes Blake so much she can barely string a sentence together around her when they’re flirting. And when she does you know it’s just the most unfiltered thing ever.

Which for Blake has do be so comforting. Like, she spent her preteens/teens being groomed and manipulated by someone who was good with words. Who used them to “get in [her] head and make [her] feel small.” and left her feeling like a hollow shell of a person.

So Yang being super awkward and genuine about her feelings? Her constantly building Blake up through her words and actions even if she’s a huge dork about it cuz she has no idea what she's doing?

How could Blake not be into that?
