💜 Gamzee is honestly one of the most chill yanderes (at least when he isn’t being mind-controlled.) He definitely likes to cling to you, though. His lusus was never around and he’s pretty isolated from the rest of the population because of the location of his hive, so he’s pretty touched starved. And hugs are always so warm and nice, especially when they’re coming from his matesprit!
🎉 Gamzee literally thinks you’re perfect, as thpugh you were an angel sent from above from his mirthful messiahs. He’ll go on for hours, he’ll write an entire raps about you - about how perfect you are, how magical and holy you look, how creative and talented you can be, how much passion you have, and how happy you make him!
💜 The most posessive he’ll be in casual circumstances is coming up from behind while you’re talking to someone else and wrapping an arm around you, joining the conversation. Gamzee isn’t naturally very jealous and usually trusts that his friends and others have only good intentions. So, Gamzee honestly is pretty laid-back for the most part…
🎉 … Unless someone is actively trying to pursue, that is. That’s when Gamzee confronts them. His aim isn’t to kill them or even hurt them, unless his potential rival strikes first, of course. Gamzee’s intent is to merely talk things out with person, to explain that you and Gamzee are together and for them to leave the two of you alone. During the conversation, he’s completely civil and even seems laid-back on the surface. But underneath his relaxed visage lurks a boiling rage. When he smiles, he bares his sharp fangs. His eyes spark red with fury. He has his strife weapon out, smacking it against his hand - all to make sure his potential rival understands one thing - you are HIS.
💜 Gamzee prefers to talk things out with you rather than using force. Why would he scare you or hurt you by kidnapping you, when he could just explain the pros of moving in with him - you’ll be safer with him, your presence can help with his touch-starvation and help him stay off sopor, it’ll be a big step in your matespritship, etc. Gamzee always wants for you to be happy! He’d never wants to scare or hurt you, he loves you far too much!
