āYou tried to kill me!ā
āDonāt insult me. If Iād tried to kill you, youād be dead.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā who hurt you? ā
Ā Ā Ā do you want the abbreviated version or the story version?
In another universe I was there and I died with you. Thats how it should have been.
So I became someone else. Not because I wanted to, but because I could no longer survive as who I was.

Another OOC Post
//Itās mun again, with another āsorry for the delayā postā¦yeahā¦
Iām moving!! For the past week or so Iāve been working on packing and moving stuff from my apartment to the house I'n going to, so replies have (obviously) been slow and spotty. Today is (hopefully) my Big Move day, and after this Iāll be fully in the new place and will just have to unpack!
Howeverā¦(more bad news)
The place Iām moving to doesnāt have internet yet, so Iāll be relying on mobile Tumblr for everything. I hope you can continue to be patient with me until I can get an internet provider! Iām hoping it wonāt take long. (And if it does Iāll just go camp out in Bigby or something)
I love you all, thanks for waiting for me, and as always, my askbox is open to all memes, plots, and shenanigans!

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā i have lost enough
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā i have given enough
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā i have sacrificed more than my share
It was good for a while, being empty. I didnāt hurt anymore. But as time went on, it was like I could hear myself from far away, begging for permission to come back.

I am not sorry for who I had to become in order to survive.

in another universe iām able to save you
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā was it harder to die? Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā or harder to be the one who survived?
waiting for a reply then realizing itās been your turn for like eight years.
WHEN I FOLLOW YOU, I WANT TO INTERACT. I donāt follow for follow, I follow you because Iām interested in your character and want to write with you. sometimes, even when you follow me, Iām too shy to approach, or Iām just not really sure HOW. please; if Iām following you, shoot me a message. go ahead and RANDOMLY JUMP IN MY INBOX. Something ā just know that if I follow you, I WANT to interact with you!!
Castus "They stand no kin to me now."
It was difficult to be sure if he could trust the pirate before him.
Spartacus had called for Castus to join him in his tent the moment time could be spared, after Agron had informed him that he had freed the man from his bonds. If the Sicilian was to be walking free among the rest of the rebels, Spartacus wanted to be sure he would not cause trouble.
Castus appeared sincere, his face held no love for the brothers that had left him in Sinuessa. He held Spartacusā gaze with steady eyes, his voice firm but not offended.Ā
Spartacus tilted his head forward the slightest bit, watching him carefully.
āAgron freed you, absent my command,ā Spartacus wanted it well understood that he had not been part of that decision,Ā āacting on trust given to you by Nasir. Not an easy thing earned.ā He paused for the briefest moment, allowing Castus time to mull over his words, and their meaning,Ā āSee that it is not betrayed. A word from my lips can see decision reversed, or your life claimed.ā
@castus-the-pirate
Castus bowed his head in deference to the leader of the rebels. In truth, there was nowhere else he would rather be even if they were stuck on a mountain and Nasir was only mostly the reason.Ā
When Heracleo and the crew had turned on Spartacus and the rebels of Sinuessa they had also turned on Castus their first mate. Their brother.Ā The betrayal had been a shock and though the sting of it had worn off, the hurt was not completely gone. The rebels, even if they did not wish to have him, were all he had now.Ā
āHow may I be of use to your efforts?ā He asked, realising that action would speak more than words in this moment. He had already spoken his piece to Spartacus, words would not sway him alone.Ā
Castus shivered in the cold, since leaving the warm of Siinuessa he had not been given any kind of fur or covering and so he wore only the clothes that were more suited to the hot sun at sea than mountain colds. Still, he did not ask for anything. Supplies were few and he knew he needed to be a valued or at least accepted person before he could ask for anything and receive anything but abuse and spit.Ā
@bloodandhonor
āI would see your knowledge of the Romans be put to use,ā Spartacus pushed the map he had been studying slightly closer to Castus,Ā āI do not know the paths your ships may have taken upon the sea, but I understand that you traded at ports. What do you know of the land? Of supplies that could be gathered?ā
They were moving further from the water with every step, and Spartacus did not hold much faith that Castus would hold knowledge of the cities inland, but he was not going to ignore the possibility. He would take anything the pirate could offer.
The shivers that shook Castusā body did not go unnoticed, but Spartacus ignored them for the moment. A few more moments of chill would not harm the man.Ā
@castus-the-pirate
Castus "Honey, you don't know uncomfortable till you've been bent backwards over the helm of a ship and handcuffed to the rail."
āIs that something you have actually endured?ā Spartacus asked, eyebrows raised slightly. Castus had said and done many things that had left him surprised, but this was something else entirely.
@castus-the-pirate
āEndured?ā Castus smirked, taking a moment to sip from his cup of wine as he leaned in a little closer to Spartacus.Ā āI enjoyed every moment of it.āĀ
A cause for celebration was rarely found these days but heād learned that the right words and wine could help ease their leader into festivities. Somehow they always came back to talk of the baser desires however.Ā
āYouāve never allowed yourself to give over completely like that? Such passion, such trust, unable to do anything but feel the pleasure.ā
@bloodandhonor
āI have never allowed another to tie me into such a position, no,ā Spartacus watched with some amusement as Castus leaned closer,Ā āI was never overly fond of giving that much control to another.ā
He sipped from his own cup, hiding the small smile that attempted to pull at his lips,Ā āWas it one among your crew you placed so much trust in?ā
@castus-the-pirateĀ
Auctus "If they really want people to be good, shouldn't they offer an afterlife with... lakes of wine and a dozen naked virgins?"
Spartacus laughed, enjoying the banter over their afternoon meal,Ā āAn idea my wife would surely not be amused to hear about,ā He glanced up at the fellow gladiator, smiling as he took another spoonful of their porridge.Ā
āDo you hold any faith in the gods, then?ā
@mythandmagicmuses
āIāve been a slave so long I should say no or else face the fact that they care naught for me.ā Auctus said lightly, with a small shrug before considering the question more fully.Ā
He liked speaking with Spartacus, as a Thracian he was closer to kinsman than anything Auctus had had in countless year. According to Barca, when he spoke with Spartacus his old accent came back. Like Spartacus, the Roman dogs had renamed him too.Ā Barca was still suspicious of the man and too loyal to Crixus to be too friendly but seemed to understand that Autus could not so easily turn away.Ā
āMan to man, sat here and now? I say no but there are moments when I watch him in the arena,ā He nodded towards his lover who was seemingly arguing with Ashur again,Ā āAnd some cunt gets a lucky swipe at him with a blade and I find myself murmuring an old prayer or bargaining with Nike or Ares or whomever that heāll live. And of course, I cry out to them in climax like any other man does. Is that belief or habit?āĀ
āAnd you?ā
@bloodandhonor
āI hold no belief in them,ā Spartacus poked his porridge with his spoon,Ā āeven as a boy I found the idea amusing. Now...ā he trailed off slightly, stirring his spoon through his food once before bringing a mouthful up to eat. Enslavement, the pits, the loss of Sura, no.Ā
āAs you said,ā he met Auctusā eyes,Ā āif they exist, they care little for us.ā
Or those who held them in high regard.
Spartacus glanced at Barca for the briefest of moments before turning back to his meal partner,Ā āHow did you and Barca come to be?ā He did not want to discuss the gods any longer, and their apparent lack of regard for those upon this world. It threatened to bring up a past he was attempting to forget. That man was not who he was any longer.
