I can no longer work with any consistency due to losing access to narcolepsy medication. I am unable to raise any money for this. I will figure out the ramifications of this tomorrow. Expect projects to be cut. Ricky's site is shelved for the time being.
Aside from a massive gallery/archive for @rickybabyboy, some of the @utopicwork projects being affected by this are
Y232- an ad-free youtube downloader
Bread3D- a lightweight 3D modelling program that's so lightweight it runs inside the command line
Porthole- a minimalist web browser that also runs in command line
Plankton- a new programming language for, among other uses, making it easier and more accessible to develop web pages
Sym MoDe- a handheld mobile computer designed to be more accessible
PierMesh- an alternative to internet infrastructure that uses radio waves to connect users. The practical-minded design means it was environmentally friendlier, accessible/affordable (PM itself is a free service designed to run off one ~$15 LoRa board or a router, without an ISP), anonymized and secure, allowing people a peer-to-peer way to communicate and preserve their own webpages with government censorship or corporate greed
As a poor and disabled woman, making the digital world a kinder and more accessible place was Agie's main goal but if she can't work she can't work. We need help. I hope this post goes to show that there's a lot more than your favorite cat blog at stake.
