4dopt is a petsite that's catered towards artists where users can submit their own species and items to be used on the site for other users to adopt. species creators have full control over their species markings, distrubutions, and you can even recolor individual adopts to make customs. really fun if you like creature design and adopts. it's in beta right now but still has a bunch of features (auctions, raffles, weekly spotlight contest, explore, etc...)
