Considering Yachiru is a manifestation of Kenpachi's bankai, and therefore a manifestation of him, I think it's really important that she's so fond of and interacts so familiarly with all of the men in his division.

When she disappears Kenpachi's men ask after her, they're fond of and care for her.

When the fighting happens she doesn't hesitate to fight for Soul Society.

She shows that all the way down Kenpachi really is a fond, loyal sort of man who cares for people.
