it's not enough to be passively non-racist. whether you're chasing people off here yourself or choosing to ignore "discourse" (meaning the rights of black people to basic respect), the end result is a big whites-only sign outside your little clubhouse. when the tide is pulling toward bigotry, refusing to swim against it just means you'll be carried along too. passivity is acceptance. get mad, get loud, don't value the comfort of the oppressor over the dignity of the oppressed.

a jolly old cosplay experience I had

I tried wearing 2 binders because I thought “the contest is only like 30 minutes and it’s like 10 minutes tuere so it’ll be fine”

Long story short it was Not 30 minutes

jt also decided to be the hottest day of the year that year, and I was cosplaying Valjean so I was wearing about 4 layers as well as both binders

i also had to climb a hill to get to the venue

thankfully the cosplay featured a cane so I was basically leaning on it to stop me from passing out

i learned an important lesson in safe binding that day

i've already said this and i don't know if this is the same situation i said this but i think it always bears repeating

never ever wear 2 binders ever

its bad and can damage your ribs

if your binder isn't binding properly, check you have the right size or try a new brand

but also remember that almost all cis guys don't have completely flat chests

and bind safely !!!!!
