If you noticed that I was absent for months, it's because I was playing Pokemon Pokopia. It took my attention and exhaustion away.

At least I made a Bridgerton theme in Pokopia!

My Bridgerteons in Pokopia are in progress. I named the town Bridgerton Town, even though there are 6 Legendary Pokemon living there.

First there's Bridgerton House, with Violet Eevee, Anthony Jolteon, Eloise Espeon, and Francesca Flareon living together (Kanthony, Philoise and Franchaela doesn't exist there, as Kate Bayleef, Phillip Carnivine and Michaela Lycanroc are not found there 😓):

Pokemon 30th Anniversary and Bridgerton S4, Benophie Season.

Bridgerton in a Pokemon World: Benophie Be My Mistress.

With Benedict "Vaporeon" Bridgerton and Sophie "Cubone" Baek returning to the scene of... Audacities and comedies.

27 Feb is Pokemon Day and the 30th anniversary of when Pokemon Red and Green were released, introducing Japan to Pokemon and then the world a few years later. I am a current Pokemon fan since I was a child, so it's always part of my identity. Coincidentally, Bridgerton S4 P2 - Benophie Season - is released the day before Pokemon Day. As a fan of both, I was blessed. 😇 As tribute to both events, I draw Benophie as Pokemon.

This scene is from Ep 4 of S4, when Benedict offers Sophie to be his mistress after his love confession (which came from his head, not from his heart). At that scene, I started laughing my ass off. 🤣 The reason: I read the book, An Offer from a Gentleman. 😏 I knew he will say it and he did, which is so hilarious. 🤭 As context, the translation of what Sophie says means the F bomb. 🤭

As for Pokemon moves, Bonemerang is a physical type move that allows Cubone to throw its bone like a boomerang to attack an opponent.

Meanwhile, Fake Tears is a status move that allows Vaporeon to pretend to cry, allowing its opponent to lower its attack power.

Sophie Baek is the most realistic love interest in the entire Bridgerton series (so far)

She does something that the others do not. Sophie does not allow Benedict romanticise her situation.

Every single time he reaches for fairy tale framing she pulls him back to reality. Sophie Baek grew up in the dark version of the fairy tale. She knew how the story ends when the magic of it wears off.

She wanted to be seen more than rescued.

Our golden, beloved Benedict had to change his perspective on that. For him everything was always a fairy tale. He had to decide if he would show up for her or for the story he wanted to tell about himself.

Bridgerton in a Pokemon World: The Working Class

I'm slowly getting back to drawing (after many exhausting days at work and life), so I'm starting with the Working Class from Bridgerton. It's mostly the recognisable ones from S4, from Bridgerton to Featherington to Penwood.

So where I got these Pokemon ideas from: blame Pokemon Pokopia. My sister plays it and I just observe. I avoid playing it at all costs so I won't get addicted. To prevent that, I just keep drawing and watching Bridgerton S4 like a loser. 😅

I have drawing plans that I'm planning to do, including Benophie and Polin, even my most ambitious one involving drawing humans and Pokemon based on my Pokemon Legends ZA team. :)))
