Do you have any tips on lifting at VS? I haven't been able to scope mine out recently, but I know they just remodeled and it's absolutely huge now.
Here is what my bb lilac-lift told me when I was just starting out with VS:
VS is super easy. Go to a location in a low crime rate area; they’ll take less precautions against shoplifting like counting when you go in the fitting room. I have one next to a really high-end mall that is humongous, has super expensive stuff, and never counts when you go in. Ask for a shopper (one of those store bags) and browse. Whatever you want to lift should be put in the bottom of the bag. Cover a chunk of it with something big, maybe sweatpants or a hoodie, or just hang a pair of sweats/hoodie on your arm so the SA’s focused on the clothes instead of what’s in the bag. Whenever you can, try to leave the hangers on the rack. Slip off what you want off the hanger and put it in your bag like it’s no one’s business. You don’t want awkward leftover hangers. Try grabbing the stuff in drawers or on display. BROWSE! You’re shopping! find stuff you like! put stuff you don’r like back! try it on against your body! Take something in two sizes so it’ll look like you’re unsure about which one to get. (make the one thing in two sizes apparent. like hang it on your elbow or hold it in your hand.) And always get a few things you don’t want and put it in your bag, that way your bag won’t be empty when you leave and you also have to give something back to the fitting room attendant. When you go into the fitting room, as always, be as courteous as possible. If they do ask how many, say whatever number seems reasonable confidently. If they count, it’s okay; if the store is super busy, chances are the SA who helped you in the fitting room left to go on the floor and the lady you’ll say when you leave the fitting room will be different. When you get inside, take your shirt and bra off. It’ll be weird when someone peeks in to check how you’re doing five or ten minutes later and you haven’t changed out of your clothes. Start to detag stuff. If it came on a hanger, get something you don’t want and hang it on that. Maybe ask for a different size to send the fitting room attendant away if it’ll make you feel better. Detag. Triple check everything. Double tag the things you don’t want either inside pockets or underneath the arm flap (where the armpit is) and other unnoticeable areas. (Forgot to tell you to bring an extra thing you don’t want that has pockets for this.) Conceal and pick the things you’ll give back to the fitting room attendant (as if it didn’t for or you didn’t like it) and the things you’ll keep in the bag so it’s not empty when you leave. Listen outside and leave when you hear the lady help a new customer into the fitting room. If they did have the intention to count, they can’t right now because they either don’t see you leave or they’re helping that person in. But say to them you’re leaving some stuff there! Ask where to leave the things you don’t want. And leave the fitting room. The hard part is where to dump the things you don’t want. You can browse the store again and make your way back to where you picked the extra things up and put it back. That’s what I do. Or you can just leave a bag in a corner and pretend to take a phone call as if you’re in a rush to leave. Or, if the store is super busy, leave the bag and browse your way out of the store. No one’s going to notice you leaving and that you left your shopper full of stuff if you slowly make your way to the entrance while you’re looking around.
This makes me want to order a hook and magnet so bad
