The series would be called The Heir & The Impulse: Besties at Birth. A slice-of-life superhero series centred around Lara Kent and Damian Wayne, both 15, who were born days apart and raised side-by-side like siblings. Best friends since birth, they share a fun, deeply bonded relationship that balances civilian life, teenage shenanigans, and the pressure of being the public “mascots” of the world’s greatest heroes.
The story follows them both out of costume and in it. navigating school, friendships, family expectations, and early heroics while being constantly compared to their fathers. Lara works part-time as a barista at the DailyDough, giving her independence from her family’s shadow, as they work at the Daily Planet, which allows organic interactions outside the superhero world.
Damian and Lara's relationship is a brother-and-sister relationship, except for the fact that Damian almost acts like a protective older brother to her. Even though the two of them are similar in age, he sees her as naive and sheltered since she's grown up with Clark and Lois coddling her.
Damian will speak Arabic in this series, and there would be pieces of him in this series that were lost in other comic runs, for example, Damian being a vegetarian, him having a pet dragonbat, his ex being Nika, and his ties with the League of Assassins. He still tastes expensive since he literally spent most of his life living as an Arabian prince.
Lara Lane Kent would be a country girl at heart, but she likes to game with Tim Drake from time to time when Clark misses her and wants her to spend more time indoors. To surprise Damian, she often learns Arabic, and she may or may not have a crush on Nightwing.
The two of them would go to the same school.
Supporting them are Kon Kent (18), the obnoxious older cousin who fills the role of an annoying big brother who often mentors her due to their similar situation of half-human and half-Kryptonian DNA, and Kara Zor-El (22), a protective and often strict older sister figure who would be another mentor of hers, honing her training to take the mantle as the younger, less experienced Supergirl.
The Batfamily and Superfamily are fully included, with Bruce and Clark as best friends who bond over gossiping about their kids and will engage in classic dad stuff together, always having inside jokes with each other, and Lois and Selina are forming their own alliance as their respective spouses. also Kon will be best friends with Tim drake.
With humour inspired by Batfamily Adventures and the casual style of Teen Titans (Gabriel Picolo & Kami Garcia), the series blends
(In this universe Jon will not be included since he is aged up and already has a thriving series, and I think Kon works way better as an annoying older brother archetype.)
