the most disgusting thing about trans women in women’s prisons is that they’re all violent offenders and women prisions have so few violent offenders. The most common offense for women in British prisons is not paying their TV license

... what are cervical screenings like in the usa? I have had two here in the UK plus a colposcopy and it felt unpleasant but it did not hurt. They used a swab and a small plastic brush on my cervix. I've only had one reason to go to the gynocologist and he didn't touch me at all and I had a nurse chaperone with me the whole time.
Chantal Akerman on making Jeanne Dielman, 1975.
does have any opinions on the prevalence of chronic pain conditions in young women? I saw the audience of a dan and phil show coming out of the theatre in london and almost every other girl had a cane, almost always brightly coloured and customised in some way. why do so many young women with these chronic illnesses have the same interests as each other?
sailor moon is especially common, being nonbinary, they even dress and do their makeup the same way
i dont doubt that these girls are experiencing distressing medical symptoms but why are there so many similarities that you don't see with other autoimmune conditions such as type 1 diabetes.
a lot of these girls also have a history of eating disorders too, a very socially contagious illness Does anyone have any thoughts?
has eli erlick ever been charged, why are all the stories just on social media... do they not go to the police i dont understand... being genuine here,
its not that i dont believe it's happening but there are SO many stories and his own community are aware of it why no criminal charge?
do they just not report? why?
what is going on in usa
A trans woman was just sentenced to 15 years in prison for defending herself from an attacker. She wanted no part in the fight and witnesses described her actions as self-defense. With right-wing media constantly portraying her as "evil" since the incident, the trial was over before it began.
ok you know what like. dont do this. dont ever do this. do not ever say anything like this. this is the best way to get manslaughter bumped up to murder. Using knives in self defense is already an uphill battle. Do not make it worse on yourself.
this man has a history of knife crime, robbed people at knife point is 6'5" and demanding to be put in a womens prision
all these comments are in response to kiss’s frontman paul stanley not condoning gender affirming surgeries for children. notice how they are implying he is trans or straight up calling him a trans woman for having long hair, wearing makeup and heels and how him making money off of being gender nonconforming is somehow an appropriation of transness as if gender nonconforming people have anything in common with people who think they were born in the wrong body for wanting to embody stereotypes associated with the opposite sex. thank for proving that gender is indeed just stereotypes based on appearance, gender nonconformity = transness and woman = long hair, heels and makeup. this is going in the receipts archive x
"All the nazis are comin' out of the woodwork."
paul stanley is jewish and the son of holocaust survivors. wtf.
Hey I went to reblog this from @ms-revived-frogs but couldn't do it. Does anyone know what happened? I suspect her blog was terminated, but there could be other reasons why.
Anyway, I'll add her screenshot in here and respond to it.
It's ridiculously fucked up to call a Jewish person a Nazi, but I do notice that the gender community seems to burn through their own biggest names. RuPaul's been called transphobic. Boy George is "enbyphobic." Gender non-conforming icons of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, have been canceled by this movement. Gay men and lesbians have been canceled for perceived infractions against this community. Ellen lost her show in the 90s for coming out, and then she left her own talk show, because of this community. Dan Savage has been called transphobic. Even trans personalities like Blaire White and Buck Angel have, at times, been called transphobic. The absolute gall of some people acting like you have to support elective surgery in minors or else you're Literally Hitler™. And they're somehow being taken seriously!
KISS are entertainers wearing a costume for a musical performance, in everyday life they wear jeans and a t-shirt like most men

it’s not that I even disagree with radical feminism, it just doesn’t seem to have the answers
It is so alienating and makes interacting with your peers so difficult and there is no real alternative
As someone who’s been both fat an anorexic in my life time fat women don’t even get a fraction of the hate and mistreatment anorexic women get.
I don't think this makes sense as comparison. Anorexia is an illness, "fat" is just a weight descriptor. A woman who is fat is mistreated for different reasons than a woman with a mental illness. That doesn't devalue or diminish either experience.
Personally I've never been mistreated for being underweight or having disordered eating. I don't think that can be used to make any grand sweeping observations about The Skinny Experience though, just as your personal experiences shouldn't be used to undermine those who criticise the mistreatment of fat people.
To be fair a lot of the dislike towards anorexic women is because they insist on spreading their disorder to other people and imposing their restrictive eating patterns onto everyone around them
An interesting analysis from twitter
People in the replies and reblogs responding by calling OP a terf or right wing instead of adding an actual rebuttal just proves what OP is saying. Everyone who disagrees or criticizes modern trans activism are just assumed to be bigoted and unreasonable. They disregard any comments that radfems make or will steal their posts they agreed with because anything a “terf” says is heresy and they don’t want to be associated in fear of being thrown out of their community. It’s like when Christian conservatives finds out their child is an atheist.
Just more cult behavior.
