Favourite tropes/genre to write? Broadly, NSFW - but I'm a sucker for friends to lovers, and I love a good college au (though I've yet to write one!)
Your most popular SDV fanfic? "Keep Going" is a sweet Sambastian nsfw that is partially about them screwing around and partially about them being tooth-rottingly in love. It's also (I think) the first time I explored depicting Sam as trans!
Your SDV underdog fic you wish more people would give a chance? I'm gonna put forward my Stardew Challengers au "when you leave me I should die." This was one of those fics that bounced around in my head for months before I was able to get it onto paper, and it is full of sweaty men and Hate-Yearning™ galore.
Hear me out: I will never write Kent as abusive or homophobic! To me he's just a guy who's been through a lot who's doing his best.

Fun Fact about yourself? I used to do wildlife rehab. I was the "rabies and raptors" caretaker, meaning I handled the bats, raccoons, skunks, hawks, owls, falcons, and several other animals. The most treasured experience of my life was raising a baby bat, Bitty, from newborn.

He's on a mission to uncover the identity of the beautiful soul he had spent the night with, certain that this mystery person could be the love of his life.
Hear me out: You get what you give. Not in a perfect ratio, but if you want engagement, you have to put yourself out there. Connect with people, read fics, leave comments and kudos, engage in discussions, help in brainstorming sessions. Be grateful and show up for the people that do give you their time and attention, rather than longing for those that don't. Community is far more important and fulfilling than "fame".

I ended up falling off of Kinktober sooner than I wanted to due to some issues in my personal life - you can find the ones I did post here if you’re interested - but in the meantime I’ve been working on a longer-form fic which is a bit more grungy and angsty. The first chapter has been through about 3 rewrites but I’m finally feeling happy enough with it to share some.

It was a damp November evening, around 11, and Samson Jones was stumbling through a set of Radiohead covers on his acoustic guitar.
He was playing one of his usual haunts; this old dive bar called Rusty’s which was wedged beneath a crumbling railway bridge.
Its exterior was inconspicuous: brown-bricked and windowless, with a flickering neon sign wobbling above a rusted metal door. A brusque security guard, clad in a yellow hi-vis, shivered outside with folded arms.
Inside was nicer, but not by much. The tables were sticky, and the air smelled like damp, and the patrons were rowdy. Still, the drinks were cheap, and if Sam played crowd favourites he’d get good tips, so he kept coming back. Back to the rickety little stool in the corner of the room, with the sour tang of beer thick on his tongue.
He was lonely. He had been for a long time - a loneliness which had brittled his bones and withered his insides until there was almost nothing left. It was a loneliness which hung over him like a storm cloud, which seeped into every aspect of his life like poison, and which only seemed to get heavier the longer he carried it. The people at the bar were his last, tenuous, connection to the real world, and the guitar the only remainder of his life before, and he clutched onto them like a lifeline, numb-fingered, just about keeping his head above water.
Today, the waves came crashing over his head around four songs in.
He was midway through Karma Police when the door clicked open, and a smoky apparition crept out of the rain. It didn’t fit the lively, chaotic space at all. Defied all logic: tall and slender, with a sharp jaw and dark, sad eyes. It was so pale it should have been translucent, and so achingly familiar that it made Sam’s chest go hollow.
This was his ghost - which tortured him from the moment he opened his eyes to the moment he passed out drunk on his couch, and then infiltrated his dreams, too, as if it couldn’t be content with just letting him rest. He had every rasp of its voice, every strand of its hair, committed to memory, but he’d never expected to see it in person ever again.
Sebastian Goddamn Carpenter was perched at the bar, sipping a rum-and-coke from a chipped glass, and staring directly into his fucking soul.

The room was hazy with smoke, making it look all dark and dreamy, and the weed was doing its job better than he could have hoped for. It could have been placebo, but he felt it work almost immediately; felt any residual stress slip out of his body like a thief in the night. Felt the spark catch, and suddenly fuck was he horny.
Joint finished, stubbed out on his nightstand, he let his fingers barely graze his cock through his boxers. A whimper tumbled from his lips, lingering ghostlike in the smoky air. It didn’t take much to get him going at the best of times, but weed always made him so sensitive. So needy.
