What a minimalist life doesn’t look like: “So much to do! All these accounts to take care of! So many friends to deal with!” *Has mental and emotional breakdown*.
Is this happening to you too? I hope not, but if it is then like me you need to take up the minimalist life.
I had a breakdown yesterday and I took a step back and looked at my life from a distance.
It was chaos, it looked like some adventure park – a hundred rides going on together at the same time, a thousand people screaming and shouting.
From today I have temporarily put a hold on two of the five business/work activities I do, and even the two out of the three that continue need the least of my involvement.
And yes, a total stop to outings for now, unless they are soul enriching ones.
Too many friends can cause chaos as well. So let them live their life for the time being and you make sure you’re going in the right direction yourself.
I have also decided to give my all to the most loved activity of my day. I better be good at it!!!
For once I am going to be done with my to-do list (which should have 3 tasks at max now), and I’m going to enjoy the time I have left over.
There is also a minimalist challenge which allows you to own only 100 things (50 if you want to really go for it). I am going to try that challenge, starting today.
This is a temporary route I will be taking. It is going to be a way to get my life on track.
But it can be permanent for you. There are people who have become minimalist and have a great life.
All the best if you are going this way too. Let me know in the comments the changes you made.
