I'm gonna need to see more art of Heron!Conner from Hoppers. Like, right tf now.
He's adorable (not bad as a human either tbf) and I wish we saw more of him
Is there a good rp community for Hoppers here? Should I make a sideblog for him?

MY FRIEND IS FINDING OUT THAT HES COLORBLIND AND WE’RE ALL HELPING HIM THROUGH IT LMAOOOOOO
UPDATE WE HAVE TWO COLORBLIND BITCHEZ IN THE SERVER
what the fuck is going on
On the last one Deuteranomaly and Protanomaly are identical though
What I’m getting from this is that there are a lot more colorblind people in the world than even colorblind people know.
Share to save [shame] a friend
WAIT! DEUTERANOMALY AND PROTANOMALY IS THE SAME! IT’S THE FUCKING SAME! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT?????
The deuteranomaly and protanomaly ones are very similar but they are different. The purple section ranges out a little farther to the right in the protanomaly one. Not seeing the difference between might not indicate color blindness but rather difficulty with color differentiation.
The green is also slightly more vivid in the protanomaly strip than it is in the deuteranomaly one.
@skeletal-spire-man-aka-overfit
um
these are not the same
They’re… They’re identical…
What’s… What’s the difference-?
welp. one of the moots has tritanomaly colour blindness!
I’m not colourblind, but like, on the last one, deuteranomaly and protanomaly are identical to eachother- so are protanopia and deuteranopia-
They aren’t different?
I feel like I should add this

I got a good grade at color definition, something that is both reasonable and attainable to do
I got 0.0062
Something I recently thought of...
Wouldn't the carrot pen have Bellwether's confession on it still, and not Judy's 'dumb bunny' line? Unless that cheap toy pen has a history function..
Zootopia 2: Animation & Cinematography Analysis
Z2 genuinely impressed me, and after watching this film, I wanted to analyze the intentions behind the animation and cinematography in certain sequences. When I talk about “animation” I’m referring to different departments of animation (i.e. story/storyboards, visual development (mainly color keys, costuming), and the animation’s acting choices). For cinematography, I’m referring to camera and composition choices. This isn’t a technical animation breakdown analysis, but if people want me to analyze the animation in certain scenes, then I’ll consider it!
To get this out of the way, I dislike Disney and its company practices (and most recently their whole shit with OpenAI). However, I can appreciate and celebrate whenever their artists and filmmakers have created good films with narratively compelling characters, such as Zootopia 2. I’ll be discussing real world politics at the end. If that bothers you, feel free to stop reading after PART 4 or don’t read this at all.
This post contains spoilers for Zootopia 2, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, and The Bad Guys 1 and 2 as minor cinematography comparisons.
PART 1: Intro Chase
OH HELLO
I would love someone to make a masterpost of all of the answers and responses to fan questions the directors have made about this movie, 'cause I'm not going to Twitter for that.
Zootopia 2 Details I Noticed on My Fourth Watch (Part 1)
1: Evidence towards domesticated dogs in Zootopia!
It's been questioned whether or not Zootopia has anthropomorphic versions of domesticated dog and cat breeds. While Zootopia 1 gave hints towards domesticated cats via the Fancy Cat magazine Lionheart is reading in his cell in the credits, this film has hints towards domesticated dogs! On a soda can in the vending machine in the ZPD there is what's clearly a domesticated canine.
2: Nick is into comics!
There are so many things in Nick's apartment worth looking at but what I noticed this time is that he has comic books strewn about and a box of comic books on a shelf.
3: Nick has an old console!
Also in Nick's apartment are strewn game cartridges that look like a cross between NES and SNES games, an NES-style controller, and the NES-style console itself!
4: Sharla (and Bellwether)!
In the shearer's in Sheep Shire, there are framed pictures of a bunch of sheep above the doorway. I can't make out most of them but I did see Sharla from the Carrot Days festival in the first movie and also what looks like Bellwether's mugshot? (why would you frame that?)
5: ...Miniso?
Also in Sheep Shire there's a... just a flat-out billboard for Miniso. No clever play on the title like 'Minisow' and no half-assed attempt like 'Huluzoo' or anything just. Miniso. Not sure I like that.

The limo that took Judy and Nick to see Mr. Big are the same in both movies!
The Zebros: Not Two Zebras?
This has already been covered by others but I still wanna share it 'cause I just learned about it.
Gene Zebraxton (left) and Gene Zebrowski (right) appear to be two zebras that are partners and close friends.
But look closer and you might notice that Zebrowski looks a little different than his partner: his stripes are less numerous and less defined, his mane is longer and wavier, his muzzle is a different shape, and there are hints of brown around his muzzle, eyes, and wrists.
What's the significance of this? Well, Zebrowski might not be a zebra at all, but a horse disguised as one!
His body might be covered in some sort of fur paint or makeup explaining the chestnut brown of his normal fur peeking through around his muzzle, eyes, and hooves.
His stripes could be painted on, explaining how unnatural they look.
His mane might be dyed to have the same striped look as Zebraxton's but there's not really much that could be done about stiffness or texture without sacrificing the style.
He might wear long sleeves so he doesn't have to disguise his arms.
Taking a look at concept art from the The Art of Zootopia 2, originally Gene and Gene were likely meant to both be zebras, based on the matching muzzle shapes and the tails:
But then somewhere along the way this 'not a zebra' idea came up, because look at Zebrowski's tail. That's a horse tail. No zebras have that tail.
However something interesting is that in the film, Zebrowski does have what looks to be a normal zebra tail. This could of course be some sort of wrap or something but it's still a curious detail.
Also at first I assumed he was just a different species of zebra — mountain zebra have a browner part around the muzzle for example — but none really line up too well with his features.
Now, if he actually is a horse trying to look like a zebra then why would he do this?
It could be a disguise (removing his zebra look would make him much less recognizable while undercover), it could be so he can match his partner ('cause what are the Zebros if one isn't a zebra?), or maybe Zebrowski is just not happy being a horse and prefers to identify as a zebra, and this is just a personal choice unrelated to his job.
In any case, none of this has been officially confirmed or denied from what I can find, so until then I'm just going to headcanon that Gene Zebrowski is a horse in disguise.
If there's any evidence supporting or refuting this theory please let me know! I may have missed something blatant.
So — per the Zootopia 2 art book — apparently at one point at Burning Mammal Judy and Nick were going to accidentally end up in a "Two-Way Petting Zoo"
That would have been wild to see in the movie. I can only imagine what art would've been done of THAT.
Mr. and Mrs. Otterton spotted in Zootopia 2!
They're enjoying a rowboat ride together in Marsh Market before being interrupted by Judy and Nick pursuing Gary, then having to frantically row out of the way of officers Bloats and Higgins pursuing Judy and Nick
Good news: Finnick did NOT vanish into thin air after the undercover parents scene! Here he is in (spoilers) the De'Snake residence near the end of the movie.
Zootopia 2 Spoilers Ahead Re: Pawbert Lynxley
Will any of your other Zootopia muses come back?
Possibly! Depends on who people wanna interact with.
My Suggestions for a potential Zootopia+ Season 2
I would love to see a second season of Zootopia+ taking place during the events of Zootopia 2, especially focusing mainly on characters from the first film that weren't really in the second.
With Zootopia+ being presented as each episode focusing on a different type of TV show (action, musical, dance competition, etc.) I have some suggestions/ideas for what season 2 could have:
• A Hell's Kitchen / Kitchen Nightmares style cooking competition show centered around Gideon Grey as a contestant. A humble small-town baker pitted against a bunch of very serious professional chefs.
• A court procedural/drama featuring Lionheart about hearings/legal troubles from how he handled the savage animals in the first movie.
• A medical dramedy about the crazy and wild situations one might come across in a hospital in a city like Zootopia. Could be set after the second film but before the credits (like the Flash episode was) and feature the normally mammal-centric hospital having to adapt to including reptiles
• Something centered around Finnick. Not entirely sure what though. Maybe something like Pimp My Ride?
• Some sort of natural history or paleontology type show
I'd love to hear thoughts on my ideas or your own suggestions!
"Oh you know how it is, always busy," she replied, her smile growing in return. It had been a while since she saw Gideon and it was good to see he was doing pretty good as well.
This was the first time she had actually gotten to come into the shop he ran too. A shop of his own, plus partnering with her parents, he was doing really well for himself. And she was happy to see it.
As for her, she'd probably still be in Zootopia now, clocking in even on days off if not for Nick and the Chief putting their paws and hooves down respectively. Both of them had practically forced her to take a few days off. With Nick threatening to tie her up and the chief threatening parking duty, she had finally conceded. But truthfully, she was glad that they had.
She needed the time to rest more than she realized. She hadn't noticed how sluggish and tired she'd gotten until she conked out on the train to Bunnyburrow and woke in her kithood bed. Apparently she hadn't stirred even after she was carried off the train all the way to bed by her partner. She figured she owed him a thank you as well as an apology for making him worry so much. So here she was now, besides that, it was good to see an old friend again.
"I guarantee you'd be busier than ever there for sure. Just the aroma of the pie drew me in," she added as she got out her wallet and pulled out a twenty. "As for a friend discount, how about I give you twenty and you keep a tab open for me until it runs out instead?"

While he was not the only baker in these parts by a long shot, partnering with Judy's parents had greatly excelled his shop and his whole career by not only ensuring he had high quality ingredients but also helping to ease the wariness of the rabbits and other preyfolk, who now — possibly for the first time — truly welcomed him into the community.
He'd had his own share of an unwillingness to take time off, partly because of his shop's increasing popularity but also because of his growing passion for the craft.
"Yeah, that- that's sorta why I ain't too keen on it; I'm busy enough here." he explained with a soft chuckle.
At the offer, the fox hesitated for a moment of consideration before smiling. "Deal, long as ya keep comin' back ta run it out."
"I'm assumin' this 'fox partner' of yours is that one ya work with, right? Nick, was it? How's he doin'?" he questioned as he took the bill and put it in the register.
