almost everytime i talk to batfamily stans, their biggest excuse for not reading comics is "oh but its pricey" or "i dont have any comic stores near me" and like...

no one... and i mean NO ONE, can make an excuses for not reading comics when theyre in the comic book fandom.

comics are one of the most easiest things to find online free.

as someone who's jobless and doesnt even have a single physical comic copy... like no. all you gotta do is search up the comic you're looking for and write "read online free" afterwards and BOOM, you get like 10 free cites

and if you're like "well idk where to start" honey... all ya gotta do is search up "[character name] reading list" or something along those lines

yall have no excuse

if you are in the COMIC BOOK fandom, you're expected to be reading comic books. fanfics should not be your source for characterization and canon. (especially considering 90% of the writers have never touched a comic in their lives sjdfsf) like no. you can not be a true fan of a comic character if all you read of them is fanfics and webtoons.

Just wanna let anybody know who comes to my page for some really odd reason. My art looks like it’s poor pixelation quality before you click on it..

For instance my last post of making dividers everything looks very pixelated and then you click on it. It’s a lot crisper.

Dante and Damian are the same age. They go to the same school. Hell, they're even in a decent number of classes together(And strings could probably be pulled so they had even more classes together).

Bruce has -many times- told Damian not to get in fights at school. This is for a number of reasons(Assassin training, public image, racism bullshit, etc), but it's led to Damian being not infrequently bullied.

Dante however, has no such rule in place. Because Danny damn well REMEMBERS being bullied in school, and has instead left Dante with the rule 'Be nice as long as you can, and then be effective'.

Dante got the Fenton Tall Genes, and wasn't stunted by teenage pregnancy. And then also since he'd been de-aged and then just grew up again from being like, five? He also didn't have the portal incident, and basically just reconstructed his body from scratch.

Dante is 5'8 at eleven years old, fucking menacing when he wants to be, and already has a record for being an asocial troublemaker.

Damian has recently become Dante's uncle, and Dante looks after his fucking family.

Bruce ends up having to amend Damian's rule to 'You are not allowed to hit people, and you are not allowed to order Dante to hit people for you'. It still doesn't work. Dante is doing this of his own free will.

Damian essentially has a bodyguard now. And if somebody asks Damian who the fuck this guy is, or why he keeps growling at people?

"Oh, him? He's my nephew. My older brother asked me to look out for him. He's sensitive."

You know that rivalry between Gothamites and Metropolitans? I want that but with Fawcett and Amity Park. Not because they’re so different, but because they’re so similar. I want people from Fawcett accusing Amity Park of stealing their shtick and Amity Parkers to declare Fawcett's magic to be stupid and ineffective.

I want them insulting each others cities and heroes and sports teams and street names and bragging with their own events and people and inventions.

I want Billy and Danny to be besties and hang out and laugh at the praise, insults and admiration thrown at them in the all but war that is taking place on the internet. Not that they're not taking part in it, they still have to defend their town's honour.

I want the rest of the world wondering what the fuck is going on with these random two midwestern towns fighting each other.
