you’ve heard of existential dread and existential horror, now get ready for existential peace, which is that feeling when you stare up at the nightsky and think, “huh. i exist. that’s pretty neat.”

I just ran some errands With my mother and i had the Time of my life! We bought some Running Shoes for me and the Woman advising us was so Nice. She even opened up some corridor so that I could try running in different shoes there! We bought my Mum a tshirt and we bought some berries. We walked past some huge watermelons and on the drive home we saw a glimmer of a rainbow through some clouds. And last but not least i saw my neighbour/relative and I showed her my new shoes. Finding joy and childlike glee in the little things is so much fun
I love how many people there are in the world people who pick acres and acres of fruit people who tame wild horses people who bring babies into the world people who scale mountainsides w only their hands people who build engines people who can identify a bird by the sound of its call alone people who dye fabric with dirt and flowers and vegetables people who drive across the country to deliver everyday necessities the rest of us never think about people we don’t even know are out there

Two months ago today I started knitting and today I completed my first ever knitted toy!
His name is Alexander and I learned switching colours and adding stitches to make him. His eyes have flowers in them.
Anyway if you see this you have to reblog and tag with a delight from ur day -- even the littlest thing counts
I keep reading that it’s important to make something with your hands and it’s true. I started knitting yesterday and I’m so proud of this!

Foggy morning in the Smorodinka river valley |Â Olga Potapova
Today I made an enchanted forest. Our vegetable beds aren’t currently in use so I decided to use them for my Schleich figurines.
They got a pond made out of duckweed and some moss patches to cross the pond.
They also have the option to cross the pond with this little chestnut shell 🌰 and stick and some cupules to protect themselves against the sun.
Then there is a chestnut pit and a bridge to travel across.
In the background you can see the woods and here you can see all of it in one picture.
Finnja tried out the boat although she had to do it a bit differently due to her posture.
Muna (Moona) preferred the moss patches.
Freyja explored the woods as did Ruby and Rollo.
Johanna had some fun with the chestnut pit.
While Ruth was just happy to be involved.
Existential peace
I’ve heard so many theories about why we are here on this planet
But I think my favourite is that we are simply the universe wanting to experience itself.
We’ve made life so complicted and stressful
But maybe we are stars curious of the earth.
A little piece of the galaxy, wanting to feel the dirt beneath its feet.
Wanting to fall in love and feel its heart beat.
Maybe our only purpose here is to simply be and enjoy what unfolds.
