Pretty funny to me that Sephiroth starts out kind of grumpy as a teen and ends up being kind of mischievous and playful as an adult.
Meanwhile, Angeal starts out really friendly and upbeat as a teen and ends up being kind of stern and overly sensible as an adult.
....I assume Genesis was always kind of a little shit the whole way through lmao

So there's an animation meme for a soundbyte from the song 500 miles by Peter, Paul and Mary and people use it to basically emotionally devastate others in whatever fandom they put the soundbyte to and honestly I think it would work for Crisis Core too and I am starting to really want to put together an animatic to emotionally devastate people with feels about AGSZC to this soundbyte.

I still stand by my headcanon that Genesis is like... 5'10" or maybe shorter. The 6'2" height definitely comes from his heels/boots. This guy has short (relatively speaking) king energy.
There's a book called "Towing Jehova" that my QPP has been reading on and off and we keep joking that there should be a parody called Towing Jenova. I am half tempted to do a parody book cover for this.
Just picturing changing Jehova (the giant guy) to be Jenova and the boat changed to a little dinghy with Sephiroth on it.
*chews on stick* A part of me wonders if Revelation will have some kinda timeline-splitting alt ending lmaooo I feel like the devs are having so much fun w/Sephiroth & Cloud’s twisted dynamic that I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a Bad ending where Cloud fully succumbs to Sephiroth (the happy ending for Seph) and a Good ending that follows the og battle and conclusion (the happy ending for everyone else), and that Square’s vision of everyone getting a satisfactory ending includes Sephiroth getting his way, but only in one timeline when his goal was to merge them together and secure victory in them all. Perhaps my man will just have to settle for an alt good ending as opposed to the main one dhdhdhd.

A happy ending for me would be Sephiroth going out Kadaj-style.
He's still clinging to life and hatred while Cloud holds him like he held Kadaj after their battle in Advent Children. Jenova has been defeated, and a small piece of Sephiroth's humanity remains. Then, he hears voices.
Except, instead of Aerith, it's Zack and Angeal welcoming Sephiroth home to the Lifestream.
They tell him that he doesn't have to fight anymore.
They tell him he was always loved.
...that is journey his finally over.
He's finally free.

Things watching my QPP play the compilation games again made me realize.
I am very much like Crisis Core Zack personality wise, just with lower energy levels and more fuck the government. If I had to pick a character from the main FFVII that is most like me, it would be Reeve Tuesti/ Cait Sith. My QPP has said they can easily see me donning a furry costume and spray painting a building and sticking it to the man.🤣

I'm having such a love/hate relationship here. The game gives me so many reasons to be invested in Zack Fair. He is so fucking lovable. And yet, because I know what happens from having played the main game, well. Every moment of Zack being adorable comes with pre-grief.
The bit where Sephiroth offers to donate blood to help Genesis but gets shut down by Hollander is still sticking with me. Man had so much potential for kindness that his life refused to let him tap.
Aerith's Crisis Core outfit is so 90s-"retro". I'm obsessed with her.
It's been a spicy minute since I've played CC admittedly but yes to all of this regarding Zack and Sephiroth. Like I am... iirc 90% sure that the whole Hollander refusing Sephiroth's help was because Hollander had beef with Hojo and did not want to accept help from one of Hojo's projects, even though Seph probably could have helped stabilize Genesis. Also I still bawled like a baby when I saw Zack die even though I knew he was going to. I am curious if you'll have the same reaction once you hit that point.
I think transitioning would have maybe solved like 4% of Cloud's problems
