Star he/him I guess. Self improvement blog but realistic. Hellenic Polytheist: this is in dedication to Lord Ares. While my religion isn't my entire personality it is apart of my identity and will be a big part of this blog
Howdy howdy! My name is star and I use he/him pronouns. I am really trying to build routines and habits that leave me feeling good about myself and my body and I'm using this blog to document my journey! I am going into my last year of high school and really need to lock in on both school and my audition excerpts, seeing as I would like to go to music school.
One important thing that I would like to add about this blog, it, and my efforts, are in dedication to Aphrodite PandΓͺmos (common to all people) and Ares Obrimos (strong/mighty). While there is absolutly no requirement for those who engage with my blog to be of similar faith, I just want to give warning that there will be many references to them throughout my posts. I, to put it simply am a serious religion nerd. I plan on doing religious studies as my second major in university, and am just so interested in different faiths.

Hello everybody! I am here to walk you through my little game plan for improving my life and being productive! The schedule that I am following can be broken up into 3 days; a movement and faith day, a language and music day, and a rest day.
Here is what each of these days look like in more detail:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
AM
5:30 Wake up!
6:15 Either go for a run with my friend, go for a bike ride or gym
7:15 Home & shower
8:00 Breakfast while writing the first draft of the book I am working on
8:45 All the faith things! This includes praying, giving offerings, reading the Oddyssey and a little bit of studying. There's no time limit on this so that I can spend however long I can on studying.
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
AM
7:00 Wake up!
7:20 do a chapter of portuguese work (or really whatever I can)
8:00 Breakfast and writing
8:45 Music theory :(
9:30 excerpt practice
10:00 teeny tiny practice reflection
Sunday
Rest day!! All I need to worry about on Sunday is cleaning my room a bit and making offerings to Lady Hestia.
i know we're all sick of self-care being a marketing tactic now, but i don't think a lot of us have any other concept of self-care beyond what companies have tried to sell us, so i thought i'd share my favorite self-care hand out
brought to you by how mad i just got at a Target ad
ok gang the big moment is coming up. Listen, I believe that you never need to start or make new goals for the new year. These things can happen any time, and the most important part has to be you putting in the effort. Things have gotten a little scary for me recently, I mentioned in my last post stuff about me thinking about 3ds, and this time it was so much worse. And here is the thing; I shoved my measurements into a bmi calculator and I am overweight, I binge constantly, I don't work out, I'm unhappy with how I style myself because everything looks wrong on me, and I don't want to live like this. So here is my plan, my fully fledged plan.
As soon as the holidays are officially over, I am going into a calorie deficit and working out regularly.
I am going to eat healthier, I am going to focus on my friends and my future instead of romantic relationships.
I am going to practice my faith consistently.
I am going to enjoy myself and have fun.
For my own sake I have to. I can't ignore this anymore.
Just want to put a warning here that I'm going to talk about and make reference to some not so great stuff such as: eds, c@lorie tracking, a lot of anxiety and death. If you find this triggering for the love of the gods scroll past.
So....It's not that I forgot this blog existed...more like I was spiralling and felt undeserving of posting in the name of Lord Ares. But here is the thing I need to focus on; this is a blog about my healing. Healing is not going to happen immediately, and I will spiral sometimes. He is never going to be upset about me posting in His Name unless I am doing it with the intention to harm others. My struggles are just as important to talk about as anyone else's especially on my own blog.
What actually happened? Tiktok kept feeding me ed content and then I unblocked all the ed tags I'd blocked here and I spiraled. Also because it keeps getting darker as I'm walking home from school, I keep convincing myself that I'm going to die on my walk home.
This has not been fun at all.
The plan is to try to get back to into my faith, since I really haven't put in as much effort as I would like. I'm also going to delete the calorie tracker from my phone and reblock tags.
Anyone can participate regardless of how long youβve been a Hellenic polytheist! My hope is to use these questions to reflect on the year, and repeat next year to see what has changed, and hopefully to continue doing that every year!
Answer in as much or as little detail as you see fit. You are allowed to skip any questions that you are uncomfortable answering. These questions can also apply to heroes, not just deities. You can pick specific deities to answer each one, or answer the questions with all the deities you worship. This might apply to other Pantheons and Iβm happy for it to be used as such. Feel free to tweak some of the questions to fit those pantheons if youβd like!
Please link this list on your posts with your answers so that it is easy for others to find if they want to participate too after seeing your answers.
THIS IS TO BE DONE DURING DECEMBER, IβM JUST POSTING THE LIST NOW SO PEOPLE CAN FIND IT!
Have fun!
DAY ONE: Who was the first deity you began worshipping? Do you still worship them now? If this has been answered before: how has your worship changed since last year?

I love everything you are doing, which is where these questions are coming from. I know that girl is in the name, but can I be an it-boy? I'm a transguy, so I'm not really welcome in a lot of the male self-improvement spaces, and even if I was, none of it is what I'm interested in, you know? I just wanted some people's opinions on this.
I am actually completely and utterly over the crush of doom! It turns out that if you insult someone enough, that person starts to resent you! Anyway, I might actually yell at them during band today if I get called stupid or an idiot.
