Homestuck references
edit: yes, this was confirmed to be real and on purpose by the previous Lead Art Director on Bluey
Noah Eckstein’s speech feels like a step into the 3rd dimension. I've been emotional today, so here.
From black and white,
Landing in the grey.
Looking for the difference,
But not a single shade the same.
It's every color, all emotion,
The existence we experience.
Every atom, all the words
And longing for remembrance.
Studys of before seeking anew,
It looks familiar like I've never seen,
I can't wait to see what it looks like past green.
I feel sick rn.. all the fireworks stopped and I can hear it.

Tump dies tonight while giving his speech in the hot hot sun. Like to charge, reblog to cast
On July 5, 1852, Frederick Douglass was invited to address the citizens of his hometown, Rochester, New York. Whatever the expectations of h
yearly required reading
i’m going to be really honest with you guys i think the tendency to read the absolute worst possible intentions into every action you don’t agree with is getting too automatic and it’s eating you from the inside out
the locked tomb is so relatable
sorry america but you’ve been really mean. and I don’t want to go to your birthday party in two days
so this post has blown up; turns out a lot of people feel the same way I do. If you're feeling conflicted or upset over 4th of July, I've compiled a list of educational resources and charities, both regarding US and international issues, which you can look into if you'd like. Issues here include humanitarian aid to Gaza, Ukraine, and the Caribbean, as well as reproductive, LGBT, BIPOC, and disability rights in the US.
woke up and saw people were reblogging this again. anyway, yeah. america is still being really mean and I do not want to go to its birthday party today
if you would like to spite the really mean people even more today, consider donating to raices con voz. they're a student-led organization in los angeles, who deliver food and essential supplies to immigrant families who can't leave their homes due to the ICE raids. More information about them here
EDIT: Had to fix the link! please reblog this version instead
another year of not wanting to go to america's birthday party in two days. because it's really mean. so we should help the people that america is being really mean to
in keeping with tradition, here is a link to unicef's fund for emergency health supplies and services for survivors of the venezuela earthquakes.
here is another link for manos in action, an organization that delivers supplies, such as food and childcare items, to latin american immigrants in central florida. I've participated in one of their local food drives; they're great. if you're not local to central florida, you can always donate money.
the other links are still available too, so feel free to check those out!
Sorry but I find this just hilarious
i am dying for people to recognize harrow and gideon as the golden child/scapegoat in the locked steam cooker of several layers of institutional abuse. of course harrow's love is cramped and painful and awful, of course gideon's love is obsessed and self-negating, of course they're fixated on each other and yet blind to each other. gah.
FUCK AMERICA HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY CEASAR SALAD 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽❗❗❗
reblogs were off
Yeah, it's time to get this post out again
I should just queue this every July
I've been thinking. Why do we still use currency? It gatekeeps so many things and keeps the world from broadening. In my experience here in the states, I've seen dumpsters full of spoiled food just because no one could buy it even after it was put on sale (twice) because it was getting old. Health is put out of mind because people can't afford health insurance or doctor bills or the time to take off for the appointments. Buying a house is damn near impossible for a person having to rent and pay utilities, pay on a car +insurance, gas, maintenance. Even with getting knowledge, there are pay walls beyond pay walls. Not to mention it creates crippling power dynamics and controls multiple fields of our current society.
So what is the reason we all still use currency? I'm interested in other people's thoughts on this. As a person who loves world building and exploring alternative possibilities, I wonder if something better than our current society's workings could be thought up and established to suit not only humanity but our planet itself.
