Look, rather than being petty and destroying it, why not talk to the girl. Really ask them why they are using the confederate flag. But no, low level terrorism is the answer.
LOW LEVEL TERRORISM?

an update to previous posts ive made since they got too long.
You order a package off Amazon. When the Amazon delivery guy shows up to your door, instead of giving you the package you bought, he beats the shit out of you. Then, when he sees that you are not dead yet, he calls all of the Amazon delivery people in the area and they all proceed to beat the shit out of you. Miraculously, you survive. Another miracle: a friend in your neighborhood caught the assault on video. After a month of recovery and extensive hospital bills that you have no idea what to do with, the video has gone viral. You read the comments below. “This is what happens to people who fuck with Amazon!!!” Someone says. “I’ve never been beaten up by Amazon employees, and I’ve been using them all my life!” Someone else comments. Later, you start to see articles popping up about your story. They all mention that when you were 17, your license was revoked for reckless driving. In a Facebook post on your mom’s feed, someone is going on a rant about how not all Amazon delivery guys are bad, and that if you look really close, the “bad” ones are just stressed out. Your name is trending on Twitter. Jeff Bezos films a response to your attack, denouncing the video of you getting beaten to within an inch of your life by his employees as becoming “a symbol of hate towards Amazon.” The people who attacked you still deliver packages around your neighborhood. You saw one of them just yesterday as you were watering your plants. You still can’t pay your hospital bills. Your phone dings- Twitter again. “Maybe if you didn’t order from Amazon,” someone pipes up, “this wouldn’t have happened!”
Holy shit
Someone did not get the analogy
Note: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez graduated Cum Laude from Boston University.
Wasn’t she working as a bar tender before she got elected?
Folks on the right always seem very concerned that AOC was a bartender. They ignore her prestigious education and the fact that she graduated with distinction. They ignore that she has relevant degrees. And they ignore that she worked for the nonprofit National Hispanic Institute gaining relevant experience in activism.
I’ve also noticed that conservatives constantly complain about “elites.” They propped up “Joe Six Pack” because they felt too many lawmakers were out of touch and they wanted people who understood the common folk. Blue collar workers are the heart and soul of America, right?
Did you know that nearly half of congress is filled with lawyers? And the rest are mostly businessmen. What do lawyers know about my life? What do lawyers know about struggling to pay bills? What do lawyers know about what it’s like to hold a low wage job? How are they supposed to represent me and my needs?
Do you know why AOC worked as a bartender? Her father died and her mother’s jobs as a house cleaner and bus driver were not enough to fight foreclosure. So Alexandria put her career ambitions on hold and got a job as a bartender to help her mom. Conservatives are all about “family values” right? AOC valued her family so much that she worked a grueling job out of love for her mom.
And you want to trivialize that?
AOC knows my struggle more than Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump. I have confidence that AOC will represent me and my family’s needs more so than any lawyer or businessman who is just looking to enrich themselves.
Maybe we need a few more bartenders and a few less lawyers.
Republicans: “Work hard and get a better job, snowflake” AOC: *works hard and gets a better job* Republicans: “N-No, not like that”

It’s organized by category (so it’s not as overwhelming as it sounds) and there’s an LGBT section!
Love that in a lot of classic literature people just “randomly” fall ill but bro their homes were stacked to the roof with arsenic and asbestos and lead and radium of course they were sick all the time.
And then they’re like “we took my ill wife to the seaside and her condition improved remarkably” and it’s like Edward your house has seven time bombs in it please just leave your wife at the seaside and she’ll do very well not getting mesothelioma.
Edward your wife may be entitled to financial compensation
Why not fall in love?
I got shit to do

imagine hiring a gay choir to sing a song about gay representation and making it about a straight person (i do love laura dern and shes iconic and whatever but srsly plz)
Pay attention, young ones, because this right here is an example of what happens when our history is lost. Laura Dern is the platonic definition of LGBT ally. But since you are either clearly far too young to remember or too lazy to look it up, let’s go over a few details:
In the *EARLY 90s* — remember, an time when everyone was still freaked out about AIDS and the idea of “gayness” was still widely perceived as wrong or sinful — she leapt at the chance to be part of the first show with a lesbian coming out publicly:
Greatest thing I could’ve ever been part of, honestly. An incredible honor. [...] I was excited. I didn’t think twice about it. It was a great opportunity. And then the calls started coming in once I’d said yes, from a couple of advisers in Hollywood who were out gay men, [telling me] to not do it. A lot of people in my life really worried. And I was like, “This is ridiculous.”
It was a very big deal to have her be part of the show, even as a guest — at the time, Ellen was a small-time standup who had a low-rated sitcom, but Dern was the daughter of Hollywood royalty who’d been in several films that were widely critically acclaimed, and had recently co-starred in of one of the first giant summer blockbusters.
The show was so controversial, they literally had to give her and other guests a fuсkin security detail because of the threats to her safety:
Oprah and I were having a snack, and suddenly a flood of cops swarmed the set and the stage while we were rehearsing. They’re like, “There’s been a bomb threat, we’re sweeping the stage.” And they start literally rushing us off the stage.
Oh, and remember how she was a star on the rise? As a direct result of her being a part of the first show to have someone come out, she went from starring in the biggest blockbuster in the world to having offers dry up virtually overnight.
It was significant. It was significant because I was doing successful independent movies, and, only months before that, I was in Jurassic Park, the most successful movie ever. So it was like, you’re being offered this, you’re being offered that — and it just stopped. Which is kind of wild. By good fortune of the long path of a career, you can look back and say, how great to have it be felt, how backward we are.
I’m sure Dern got closer that we’ll ever know to ruining her career through her appearance on Ellen. But she says she has no regrets.
But what was amazing, which I will never forget, that when she looked in my eyes, she said it was the first time she said “I’m gay” out loud. We didn’t rehearse it, so when she said it to me, and was looking in my eyes and holding my hands and I felt her shaking … the gift — it makes me want to cry — the gift of that, the intimacy of what that means, was such insight for me. And I’ll carry it for the rest of my life.
So next time you want to get all in your navel-gazing feelings about “the straights”?

Also, like, if you honestly think this was "a song about gay representation," please, I am begging you, learn the differences between queer representation, queer coding, queerbaiting, and queer people gleefully rubbing our queer little hands all over something and saying "this is ours now."

girls who are like i only hang out with guys cuz girls are always fake and mean.... did you get the male validation? did you secure the quirky persona ?
ain’t nothin wrong with male validation bud
just say you want to accuse them of being gender traitor handmaidens and go
There's also a huge difference between "I have internalised misogyny and think all women are manipulative bitches" and "all the female relationships I've had in my life have been abusive so I feel safer with men". Sometimes people say shitty things, but you can't assume their intentions. I think a lot of women who've survived abuse by other women do hit that "not like other girls" phase as a coping mechanism. It's not true that all women are manipulative bitches, obviously, but let's not make judgements about the reasoning behind why some people say shit like that. I've seen it happen to a lot of abuse survivors. Gender preferences because of trauma are a well-established thing, and we can't pretend like those gender preferences are always going to sway away from men.
