She's haunting the narrative, baby! Loustat thinking about Claudia in 3x02
the big one fucks the small one = tired, derivative, ubiquitous, wow did you think of that yourself
the small one fucks the big one = contrarian, woooah so different and original look at you, you don't actually think that
the small one and the big one fuck each other = oh really, wow, radical centrist over here, shut up, dismissive jacking off motion
It's a title that he has given himself, or has been given to him, but he's never felt it. I don't think he's ever really wanted it or I don't think it gives him happiness. He would much rather have a maître in Louis and I think that goes back to his other previous partners […] or people that he's had in his life. But here that’s his cloak, that's his kind of mask. [At the] end of episode four [Louis] calls him Arun for the first time and for Armand in that moment that’s Louis seeing Armand for the child that he is, for the innocent that he is, and that’s what makes Armand melt […] That’s a sigh of relief that he doesn’t have to do this alone because he’s been doing this alone for so long, maintaining power, maintaining structure, maintaining the coven, and now Louis [has] said with that phrase, I can share that burden with you, even better I can take it from you, I can hold it. There are the sexual dynamics in that as well, and that’s the submissive elements to it. It’s protection and I feel that he kind of sees Louis as his protector, but it’s difficult because he wants to give that control but wants to also control Louis [...] but you can’t have both and that’s his downfall. | Assad Zaman
which im sure means nothing at all
I haven’t really seen anyone mention this, but I think AMC Lestat is jealous of Claudia’s intelligence. Especially the way it helps her relate to Louis.
Louis and Claudia can discuss books. The one time Lestat tries to discuss a book with Louis, Louis rebuffs him, because the book omits the travesties that were done to runaway slaves. This is understandable, of course. Then we see Louis try to discuss a book and Lestat says he sounds pretentious. (Which actually, I agree with. “The lack of metaphor is striking”? What does that even mean?)
Lestat also mentions how difficult it was for him to learn English. (Understandable. Learning a second language is difficult. Especially as an adult). Then we see Claudia teach herself multiple languages. Even if she still has the learning capacity of a 14 year old, and can learn easier than an adult, this is impressive.
Lestat also calls Claudia “a nasty little creature who has fooled herself into believing she’s smarter than she is” and tells Claudia “you must think me an idiot.”
All of this might help explain his extreme reaction when Claudia not only beats him at chess (a game he taught her), but doesn’t even give him the respect of officially finishing the game.

Modern day Loustat where Louis is about to have sex with Lestat for the first time in literally almost a century but he's so used to Armand's crazy BDSM activities that he starts brining out the whips, chains, floggers and handcuffs by muscle memory while Lestat De Vanillacourt is standing there like 😟
Hi I’m in abject terror of getting kicked out this Saturday from the hotel I live in. I just am living minute to minute trying to make it until I can go to school and get the healthcare I need there; otherwise I live minute to minute and sometimes I just can’t make it. Please, anything helps.

Hi; I haven’t received anything and I absolutely hate begging. But I literally do have nowhere to go and I’m terrified. I’ll lose everything by Friday 11am I have and I have nowhere to take my cat. Please; anything helps.
