Irukandji, carukia-barnesi

Irukandji are translucent and tiny, with a bell 5-25 mm in diameter and 4 thin long tentacles that can grow up to 1 m. Despite their small size, they are one of the most venomous jellyfish in the world and can cause fatal brain hemmorrhages.

I love seeing a parent with their child, and these two make me very, very happy 😊 look at all the little fish attached to the stomach of the big whale. Very cool 😎 😊😍 I love how the calf swims safely under its mother's fin. 💙🩵💙

sometimes I hyper-fixate on my appearance and start nitpicking at it (it is quite maladaptive). and then i tell myself that at least i have a body and am able to experience things with it. like, i can eat soup/chicken pot pie, walk to the library, and go to planetariums. it makes me feel slightly better.

The shape of a fish's caudal tail can tell you a lot about how fast the fish moves! A rounded tail is the slowest and a lunate tail is the fastest! The lunate tail has the most optimal ratio of high thrust and low draw, making it the fastest.

one day a friend gave me a cloud lamp that could turn different colors. i named it the glow cloud. the glow cloud sits on another lamp that i have. its own version of a throne.
