i stopped giving a shit about "legit" purchases of digital products after i spent $80 on the entire Dark Horse collection of Trigun/Trigun Maximum ebook mangas, learning that I only got access to reading them through a proprietary website ereader function, couldn't download them, and couldn't get a refund, and then literally only a year later, getting an e-mail stating that Dark Horse was shutting down that part of their company and I wouldn't even be able to read them anymore. Fuck that

Pirate shit. Don't feel bad for it. It's not "your fault" that artists, independent or otherwise, can't make a living. You downloading an album or ebook for free isn't the cause of the problem. The cause is capitalism, plain and simple, and pirating is a lucky loophole that companies are still trying to stomp out.

anon, this is a question that comes up here all the time but writing dark content with proper warnings is not 'normalising'. normalising would be posting it and framing it as an ordinary and/or ideal relationship. a warning for dark content - as is blanket on this blog and as noted in tags and warnings in posts - is saying 'hey, this is included so be aware of it, nothing is condoned here'. fiction affects reality in plenty of cases, but not properly warned fiction on a random person online's fanfiction blog which is read by under 20k people!

i simply find dark content more interesting to write because of my personal tastes in fiction. if you are made uncomfortable by what i like to write, please block me or filter tags of things i write about the most often!

Why do antis specifically designate all of us as loving pedophilia or lolisho? Like, I write sexual gore. I draw it. Love it. I'm a sadomasochist in the paraphilic sense, full on can't finish if I don't think about violence or act out a scene with intense violence and humiliation of some kind during sex. Never been comfortable with underage characters in sexual situations (but I don't judge, again I get off on gore but I also know I'd never actually want to get cut open or cut someone else open, or seriously hurt anyone in a way that actually matters, so I can understand that people who experience a similar involuntary arousal response to not so socially acceptable things probably also don't want to act on it in reality either) but despite being uncomfortable with that, it's always the first thing antis accuse me of when I say I'm pro-ship. at least be accurate.

I don't consider the Track Terrorizer, or most TF2 cosmetics for that matter, to be canon. Mainly because it's community-made, but also...

I mean, a fanmade cosmetic called the Millennial Mercenary was accepted into the game and I'm pretty sure millenials were not around during the 1960s and 70s. (To be clear, not hating on this cosmetic, I'm just using it for my point.)

And that's not even mentioning the USSR-themed cosmetics for Heavy, despite him hating the USSR's government, as seen in the comics. I can see Heavy taking pride in his homeland because that's where he's from (plus he does have voicelines where he's like "in Russia, we xyz"), but why on Earth would he support the government that KILLED his father, and put him, his mother and his sisters in a gulag, AND proceeded to try and hunt them down until Heavy took his family to the USA?

Back to my original point. The Track Terrorizer was community-made, aka fanmade, and so was its description. Scout is not canonically a pedophile. And anyone who keeps claiming he is one, or makes jokes about it, is a fucking weirdo in my eyes.

Same with people claiming that Medic is a Nazi. Robin Walker himself said that Medic isn't one.

If you think that pedo or Nazi jokes are funny, you are weird. To say the absolute least.
