The discovery of the statue of Antinous in Delphi, Greece in 1894
Really obsessed with this one like how old cameras worked making everyone blurry against the statue and just makes you realize how long the statue has been right. There.
Alright so it’s not a job interview today but I’m meeting a ton of the staff to essentially vibe check if I’m a good fit for this place. Which I already know I am but they need to meet me too. The only thing is that it’s not as high of a position as I used to work (I’d made it to lower management before I left) BUT the pay is significantly better for a worse position AND the private university offers perks.
Either way I’m going for the entry level position, I just want to see how quick I can move up the ladder.

you gotta read, you gotta write, you gotta draw, you gotta watch films and shows. there is literally NO time to be employed
You can tell a lot about a person by entering their mind palace and encountering their greatest fears and darkest hopes in a labyrinth reflective of their subconscious thoughts.

Leo Fitzmaurice
Horizon (Leeds), 2011
oil paintings and picture frames, installation dimensions variable
Horizon (Leeds) is made up from a selection of 19th and early 20th century landscape paintings chosen from Leeds Art Gallery’s collection. Fitzmaurice has installed the paintings to create a single painted horizon, forming a graphic line cutting across the ornate frames.

Z’s making me find a stitch and bitch to attend tonight simply to get outside and make a new friend. I do think it’ll help, but now I have an entirely new social problem on my hands
Ohhhhh my god yeah I needed that. Going out and like, just meeting new people. People who don’t know shit about me but we vibed immediately. I’ve got a new job prospect lining up?? I forget that I have the capacity to be an interesting extrovert and a very charming mother fucker when I turn it on.
ok. enough suffering now. i am seeking out delight
people misunderstand summer enjoyers it’s not about the heat it’s about the fact that it isn’t getting dark at 4 pm
