New Fantasy Roleplay

Inomund: A stunning world where humanity and the occult are living on a teetering balance, one only sustained by humanity's stunning ability to maintain their normalcy. Will they ever learn what reality truly is? Will occult ever be able to come out of hiding?

I invite you to this world of fantasy roleplay, set in the 1800s and including species such as spellcasters, vampires, demons, mermaids, and dragons. This server is minor-friendly and minor-encouraged, but that doesn't mean our 18+ pals can't join us. This is a text-based roleplay and there are no rules for literacy, save grammar and punctuation. We are a queer and minor-run server with good vibes and support for people who are both new to the server and new to roleplay in general. This is a non-toxic space with no cliques or gatekeeping, with a simple layout and friendly community. Once roleplay is up and running, we will eventually even have challenges and other events planned for the OCs. You don’t have to roleplay to be in the server- you can feel free to lurk as long as you’d like <3

Okay imagine a dragon, but instead of speaking like a human, making those terrifying crocodile guttural sounds, or roaring the way that lions don't, the sound it makes is a massively boosted, echoing and piercing high-pitched shriek of a seagull.

Somewhere in like, Oregon or Idaho there’s just some normal hotel that’s very average if not slightly backrooms-y and unbeknownst to basically everyone it exists mostly unchanged in 95% of all possible universes in the multiverse and acts as a central radiating axis that binds all of our reality together. Also next to it there’s a field with like a long spool of rope laid across the ground and if you touch the rope and walk/pull yourself along it reality starts to warp slightly and you enter a spatial anomaly, a slipspace that shouldn’t exist actually and eventually you’ll end up seeing the rope get more and more twisted as you go, more and more tightly wound up. By the time you finally see the end of the rope it will be frayed and laid down on the ground in a sort of sunflower-esque fractal pattern and the rope will be basically the only literal chord the binds you to reality at all and if you let go of it you will cease to have ever existed, wandering the endless void where the universe is laid out bare, all the clockwork and trickery behind it made known to you, and if you manage to make your way back to the rope you can rejoin reality but will experience it in a fundamentally different way than before.

On Saturday I said to my partner, as I have said for months, "A ten thousand dollar a year raise would solve so many of my problems."

As of this morning I was reluctantly looking for jobs because I love my job and don't want to leave it, but see: $10k raise problem solver.

As of noon today this was no longer an issue, because my boss called me with the news that I was getting a $10K merit raise.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. This is roughly $200 extra per paycheck. Enough to pay off debt faster, rebuild my savings, and spend a weekend a month in Milwaukee getting obscenely laid. The sex I'm going to have on $200 extra per paycheck. You can't even.

May all of you get the $10K raise your soul has yearned for. And whatever level of sex you can be satisfied with for $200.
