this makes me sO EMOTIONAL AGAIN TIME TO TAG, okay so i absolutely adore this hug it’s probably my favorite with the 1x13 one, because it’s pure comfort and relief and HOME, but what i find super interesting is that for once—FOR ONCE—it’s more fitz seeking comfort that the other way around, look at how his body is curling around jemma's—look at how he’s heavily leaning on her, she’s probably supporting his weight—look at how straight she’s standing compared to him, she might have listened to his voicemails—she might have been briefed about what happened to him on her way back, but she didn’t have time to worry about him and she probably hasn’t fully comprehended what happened while she was gone, but fitz—FITZ—he has been anxious about her the entire time—first she’s not answering—then he’s gone (gone. GONE. /GONE/), and finally he finds out that mace lied and send her god knows where and that she’s alone (/SHE’S OUT THERE ALL ALONE/ UGH KILL ME), and there is not one minute where he’s not thinking about how the last time they saweach other they were having this stupid argument,and that it might be the last thing that she will remember of him if he can’t came back—not how much he loves her, not that she’s his entire life—not that he would have been beside her the whole damntime—just that they were arguing, and so when he finally sees her—the dam breaks—his face crumples—HE LOVES HER—he can finally hold her and tell her over and over again,and you can see in the way he holds himself (or doesn’t since he just slumps against her) that he needs this—her holding him, her showing him that it’s okay—she’s there—he’s alive—they’re in love—THEY ARE TOGETHER FOREVER—/WE WON’T LET IT/, and in the last gif he’s about to let go but HE JUST CAN’T YET SO HE FURROWS BACK INTO HER NECK AND SHE LETS HIM BECAUSE SHE UNDERSTANDS, UGH I AM SO WEAK THEY ARE KILLING ME THIS IS SO FITZSIMMONS I’M CRYING, fitzsimmons, leo fitz, jemma simmons, otp: the whole damn time,otp: cause i’ve got something magnificent right here, aos spoilers, simmons comforting fitz is my ultimate weakness (because fitz is my ultimate weakness) bye. via @leo-fitz-is-a-gryffindor
