Actually it’s EDM, electronic dance music, and popular artists include Cascade, Italy brothers, Basshunter, etc. You can easily find a playlist by searching on Spotify or YouTube for EDM playlist.
I appreciate how, as our understanding of dinosaur anatomy becomes more refined, we simultaneously have improved the anatomy of our fantasy creatures that are often inspired by them.
Especially since the more anatomically accurate stuff usually looks so much better than our older ideas?

And now that we’ve become more thoughtful about their anatomy, our fantasy creatures– even the ones that still wouldn’t technically make sense– still look so much more pleasing to the eye as a result.
It’s awesome how the closer to correct anatomy we get, the “prettier” things seem to look.
This. So much this. The closer they are to actual anatomical features, the more natural they look and thus both richer in detail and approachable as animals rather than amorphous blobs with sticky legs.

This image is amazing, thank you! But just overall, this whole post in itself is amazing cause it shows how easily it is to overlook every day small acts of inclusivity, even coming from within the disability community. (And also how often times people not understanding the importance of inclusion, merely comes from inexperience or lack of perspective.)
But more importantly it also shows how to remedy that. With owning to the mistake, reacting thoughtfully and with kindness, and moving forward with the intent to do better in the future. Just, iconic, what a good post. Thank you, really cheered me up.
this might be a dumb question but can someone tell me why image descriptions are important? i want to be inclusive. i just thought that if they could read the description they could read the post? please explain
Sure thing! People who are blind or who have visual impairments often use screen readers to interact with media, whether online or off. It’s an accessibility feature that is included by default in most phones now (I believe), as well as various programs for computers.
This video gives a good example of an individual using a screen reader called JAWS to browse online:
YouTuber Molly Burke also has a good video on her channel about how she uses her Apple phone and other tech to manage her life and her youtube platform:

What the screen reader cannot do however, is describe images, unless there is a descriptor ID underneath it or embedded in the image. Which is why adding image descriptors and captions is good for accessibility and inclusivity! Which is why people helpfully add them in during reblogs when people either forget, or don’t know to include them. Hope that helps! :)
