I don't need someone to match my freak; I need someone to complement my freak. Accentuate and accent my freak. Plus, we gotta diversify our freak portfolio here -- combine our efforts to cover the greatest amount of freakage instead of seeking freak redundancy.
i fuckin love sitting. if a task that’s traditionally done standing can also be done sitting? my ass is on the ground. my legs are cris-crossed. my knees are apple-sauced. my shoulders are hunched. my posture is a shrimp-like abomination. i love it. i love sitting. i love every single fucking filthy thing about it.
This pic is just too cute! I had to doodle it!

Neil Gaiman Gilded Print (Signed by author and artist), Edition of 250 signed by Neil in archival burnt orange acrylic pen. The artist has hand gilded the GOOD ICON title in 24 carat gold, and numbered and signed each print in pencil.70 x 50 cm.: £200.00
In 2018 I was artist in residence on the set of Amazon’s Good Omens during their filming in and around London. I was invited by my friend author Neil Gaiman, who adapted the screenplay from his book with Terry Pratchett and is the program’s Showrunner. I had been collaborating with Neil on a series of portraits of his esteemed head for the last few years.
I produced sketches on the set and had sittings with David Tennant and Michael Sheen, the show’s two main protagonists. From this I created a body of work inspired by the show called Good Icons. These reference the characters being an Angel and a Demon, and are created in the process I developed specifically for a portrait of Neil on 3000 year old bog oak, where I captured special oil pigment in layers of melted sun bleached beeswax.
I conceived a pair of icons where each painting hovers over a newspaper front page issued on one of the author’s birth date. Sheen’s Aziraphale floats over a copy of The News Chronicledated 28th April 1948, the day Terry Pratchett came into the world. Tennant’s Crowley floats over a copy of The Evening News dated 10th November 1960, the day Neil Gaiman came into the world.

fuck it, i never ever do those “reblog for X, this one really works!” posts, but this one doesn’t have any of that BS, this is just straight up wishing us good things; and then the comment doesn’t even say any of that either. Zero claims on this post, all positive vibes
May you end this week feeling ever more certain of a future you’ll love
Pedophilia is bad should not be a radical statement.
No really, please reblog this if you can, because this site in general, but fandom spaces especially bad for this, to the point where people are genuinely afraid of harassment they may face for saying ‘Pedophilia is a bad thing and you probably should not encourage it’ or for calling it what it is. Fandom spaces are also especially bad for screaming about how it’s ‘just fiction’ when we know damn well that fiction impacts reality.
In case anyone feels like continuing to argue this post, I have multiple real actual pedophiles telling me to ‘deal with’ their attraction to children and being allowed to produce content with it for said children to read so like, this is a serious problem.
I mean you can find them in the notes. Real pedo’s are comfortable in fandom spaces because they know y’all will defend them now with ‘but that’s just fictional, they would never do it in real life!!’
@ anyone who excuses pedophilia in any way: Get the fuck off my blog, you’re disgusting and you’re not welcome here.
This is why art is important, in case you were wondering.
i need feminism because when jesus does a magic trick it’s a goddamn miracle but when a woman does a magic trick she gets burned at the stake
fabulous
i mean they did also kill jesus. that was a pretty significant thing that happened. like i understand where you’re coming from here but they very much did kill jesus.
#HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY
i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:
1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online
2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links
3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)
4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)
In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)
you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)
reiterating that you absolutely need an adblocker for these sites (to avoid malware if nothing else), and i HOPE you already have one installed bc using a (free) adblocker for daily browsing tremendously improves your internet experience!
I recommend installing uBlock Origin whenever possible (Adblock Plus is also popular). Also using Firefox, bc they're a nonprofit that gives you privacy and lets you fight ads, while Chrome is owned by Google; they just want to mine your data and sell ads.
How To Block Ads:
for Desktop, click this uBlock Origin link (works with most browsers). install, restart browser, good to go!
for Android, open Firefox and go to "3 dots menu > add-ons > add-on manager > enable uBlock Origin." (this also blocks youtube ads within firefox!). this doesn't work on Chrome, because Chrome hates you, but there are some ad-blocking apps in the play store that will give you varying results.
for iOS, it's trickier, bc Apple also hates you. here are some recommended apps in the app store. (some of them keep premium features behind a paywall, bc again Apple hates you. but there are options.) If those aren't enough, Firefox comes to the rescue again with the Firefox Focus browser app, which includes a powerful built-in adblocker. I can't find specifics, but try clicking the 3 dots menu and fiddling around to customize your preferences.
in conclusion: a combination of Android, Firefox, and uBlock Origin makes for the best browsing experience. But no matter what system/browser combo you use, please install at least one adblocker. you will thank yourself every damn day. it will give you a faster, safer, and much less aggravating experience as a user of the Modern Internet (derogatory)

Not to be that person but I feel like sometimes Shrek being so memeable prevents people from seeing how truly revolutionary and radical the first two films really were. A children’s fairy tale that argues that no, ugliness does not mean bad and beautiful does not mean good. A fairy tale that argues that everyone deserves love, even those cast out of the margins of society. A fairy tale that dares to have a female protagonist not be conventionally attractive or helpless. A fairy tale that argues that love does not happen at first sight, but is grown through mutual respect and interest. That’s pretty fucking sick if you ask me
an underrated detail in pride and prejudice is that elizabeth bennett was home alone on the day darcy proposed because she had a headache. can you imagine. this was in the pre-painkillers era. you're at home with a headache and then this asshole walks into the room and tells you he loves you and wants to marry you even though he hates your whole family and you're beneath him. imagine having to deal with that while also having a headache. she doesn't even have ibuprofen
Pssstt. Wanna see your whumpees and whumpers come to life?
I can sketch your characters for the price of a cup of coffee! Here are some examples:
1 character half body base price (all in USD): $4
Make it full body: +$1
Add shading: +$1
Add colours: +$1
Add character: +$2
I am pretty much open to drawing anything, even nsfw and whumpy stuff! And since I'm part of the whump community, I won't judge what you commission, I'll even fangirl with you about it!
Commission me here
Oh you don't want to? That's okay, sharing is also caring so do boost this post! It helps me so much already.
More commission tiers coming!
