My favorite BBC Merlin fact (for which I can’t find the source! I think it’s in s1 commentary) is when they were casting the Great Dragon no one really though John Hurt would agree to this dinky little show with four no-name main actors, but then he was essentially like “hell yeah I want to be a dragon.” And that’s my kind of attitude tbh.

Okay but Dean and Cas having this reputation at school of being this promiscuous couple that can’t keep their hands off each other, but it not being true is so important to me???

Like they’re always holding hands and sitting just a little too close, with Dean leaning into talk to Cas at his locker and Cas showing up with “sex hair” and a “fucked out” voice after long weekends, the both of them seemingly exhausted

But in reality, they are the most vanilla, sweet couple to ever exist

They’re lovey-dovey and enchanted with each other, that’s why they can’t stand to be too far from each other. They talk close cause Dean is a bit hard of hearing and needs the closeness in order to catch words he might miss in the loud crowded hallways.

And the sex hair? That’s just happens when you spend break at your boyfriend’s house playing video games and not realising that you only have half an hour to get to school.

They haven’t even had sex yet, both just comfortable with kissing and closeness that never really bleeds into anything sexual other than the occasional necking here and there

Whenever Sam’s classmates joke or ask about his brother’s relationship, Sam tries to set them straight by going “they’re gross but not /that/ gross” but no one believes him

One time in class a kid overheard Cas giggling and blushing while looking down at his phone. He expected to see some sort of flirting, maybe even a naughty text, but when he glanced at Cas’s phone all he saw was a really ugly selfie from Dean
