There was something about the way Tony seemed so eager to work on setting up shop on Knowhere that made him even more attractive to Peter. There was no doubt that having him around also might spark some inspiration for Rocket too, who would thrive with another creative mind to bounce ideas off of.
Something about being able to both prank Tony on their description of Cosmo and subtly jab at Peter's ego along with seeing him internally squirming in jealousy made Rocket grin. "Oh yeah, you'll love her," Rocket said nonchalantly. "Hey Pete, give me the Zune, I wanna listen to tunes while I work," he added holding his palm out expectantly.
"Yeah, okay," Peter said, "but just for today."
Normally Peter would be reluctant to give up the Zune even for a few hours but since Rocket played along, he figured he owed him something for it and without much a word turned to grab it off the dock and half jogging to hand it over.
"Alright," Rocket said, as he grabbed the brown music player, "I'll be in my workshop, it's right next door with the big garage space, just try to aim to drop in after about an hour," Rocket said as he padded off to go get back to working on his own projects.
While Peter was very use to the teasing from his entire team, he could still be pretty thin skinned when they did it and even if the on going lead on about Cosmo, he didn't really want to think about how he'd feel if Cosmo really was the bombshell terran babe they were making her out to be, rather than just an adorable pooch and a great asset to their ragtag team.
"Well... breakfast is the most important meal of the day," Peter said with a softening smile. "Sweet and light? Sounds familiar," he said raising a brow suggestively. His hands dipped to wrap around Tony's waist, and he licked his lips at both the thought of breakfast and the prospects of how appetizing Tony's lips looked.
"Alright, I'll take you out for brunch, but one of these mornings I want to make you breakfast myself," he said, "I know a diner that sorta makes food like traditional Earth breakfasts... or at least they try. You want to give it a shot?"
