And people drive these things like fucking maniacs. Every time I get behind the wheel I need to get into the headspace that literally everyone on the road is out to kill me. The lack of airbags combined with the fact everyone's driving fucking tanks at 60mph means I can kiss the world goodbye if I get into a wreck. If I disappear, assume I was plowed by Brad in his Ram 2500 while he was distracted stuffing a burger in his face.

some years ago there was a news story in my hometown about a high school kid that ran over a 12 year old with his ford f-250, trying to swerve away from a school bus. so yeah, big fucking trucks scare the shit out of me.

Reminder that people driving these vehicles literally cannot see anything below bumper height ~15 feet in front of them.

From this news report covering the rising number of child fatalities (referred to as frontovers) due to their own parents and relatives crushing them with these stupidly designed death machines, because they literally cannot see them.

These vehicles are not "safe", especially for anyone outside of one. And alarmingly, people buy them because they FEEL safer, causing the owner to drive less carefully.

This is evidence of corruption, plain and simple. It's lobbying from vehicle manufacturers to allow these monstrosities on the road because they have insane profit margins compared to your average sedan.

Carsized doesn't have my exact model of truck (2009 GMC Sierra HD regular cab) and the current GMC Sierra 2500 has a regular cab, but the current GMC Sierra is 635 cm (250 in) and mine has a factory spec length of 220 inches (558 cm).

The closest comparison I found was this Chevy Silverado:

over 700 (real, reputable) sites using Ghost CMS were compromised by malware like this! a patch was released in february but lots of sites didn't update and were/are still vulnerable to this exploit (via SQL injection iirc). like they said in the video, even if you're on a reputable site, a real CAPTCHA will never ever tell you to run a command like this.

Ghost CMS flaw CVE-2026-26980 enabled attacks on 700+ sites, injecting ClickFix malware through fake CAPTCHA pages.
