One time I blacked out while I was drinking and came to to find I was in the middle of a heated debate about philosophy. So I immediately realized that in order for my argument to hold any water I needed to

very quickly understand wtf my side of the argument was and

hide the fact that I had been blacked out the whole time and continue to debate like nothing was wrong

I managed to hold my own after being dropped into the debate, which I think was pretty impressive, but this whole thing just goes to show how committed I am to winning arguments
