Sad update everyone, Tama recently passed away… An estimated 3,000 people, including railway officials, attended Tama the cat’s funeral on Sunday, days after she died of heart failure aged 16. [x]

Nitama, already now a mature cat (born 2010), has a protege named Yontama (fourth Tama, b. 2016).  There is no information available for either the physical befellment or tragic self-disgrace which has removed Santama from contention.

okay but actually what happened to santama (or sun-tama-tama, which is her name because it’s a pun on santama) was that she was basically sent to train for the position in okayama and they liked her so much they refused to send her back

“Sun-tama-tama” (a pun off of “Santama”, lit. “third Tama”) was a calico cat sent for training in Okayama. Sun-tama-tama was considered as a candidate for Tama’s successor, but the Okayama Public Relations representative who had been caring for Sun-tama-tama refused to give the cat up writing, “I will not let go of this child, she will stay in Okayama.” [25]

As of September 2018, Sun-tama-tama is working as the stationmaster in Naka-ku, Okayama and appears occasionally on Tama’s Twitter account.

Dead or not Dead

So this blog apparently turned two years old today and this is as good a time as any to address that I pretty much fell off the face of the earth for one of those years in terms of posting anything.

I’m not entirely sure what I’m gonna do with this blog, I enjoy my characters and writing them of course but…..well I just need to think some things over.

Apologies to everyone I haven’t messaged in awhile, I have a terrible sense of time when it comes to these things q.q

My beloved husband died suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, February 9th, 2018. We are without health of life insurance. I am asking for donations to defray the cost of his final arrangements and medical bills. He was a great husband, father, friend and person in general. He struggled with...

Hey guys. As many of you know by now, my father died unexpectedly last Friday. I’ll be honest and say that we have absolutely no money to spare right now. He worked two jobs and was our only source of stable income. There’s the cremation to pay for, as well as any incoming hospital/ambulance bills. We have essentially nothing to give.

If anyone can spare any amount of money, saying we appreciate it wouldn’t be strong enough to convey our thanks. You can reblog this to spread it around if you can’t spare anything, it would be incredibly appreciated.

Even through all the mistakes he made in his life, my father was a good man and I’m glad that the last few months of his life were happy. I loved him so, so much.
