It's three in the morning and I just watched the new episode of Steven Universe. (And the one from Monday) Now I am not one who usually gets emotional, but I think that those five or six minutes were one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I am a musician, and "making a cover of this would be cool" is a thought that crosses my mind rather frequently, but I don't think I would be able to hold a candle to those two songs.

It’s your adblock software not completely blocking some ads that include autoplay content.

First off, Tumblr isn’t going to care, because Yahoo wants to make some money off this sinkhole of a site, and more and more intrusive ads are the way to do it, especially if we’re all trying to block them anyway.

However, running the site WITH adblock disabled, I could see the ads, but not mute them (pausing/muting went away if I scrolled up or down), so I’m going to say they’re being fucks anyway and don’t deserve the advertising money if they’re going to assault me with unwanted autoplay sound that I can’t stop.

Open up your ad blocker, create a custom filter for: *.tubemogul.com* and that should stop it. Has worked for me so far, but I literally just did this 10 minutes ago so I don’t know if it’s a complete or correct solution. If anyone’s a bigger nerd about adblock filtering or wants to dig for other sources for the autoplay ads, hit me up. EDIT: For those of you getting here from the mass-reblogs!

I’ve already posted an ammendment to this, but the above URL isn’t enough, you also need to add:

*cdn.yimg.com/gemini*

and if they change that,

*cdn.yimg.com*

though, the latter may cause some bullshit since it’s going to block ANYTHING from yahoo’s CDN.

Again, I’m not an expert with adblock’s filters, so there’s probably a more elegant way to do this, but I just wanted this shit to go away. I also feel like this is going to become an arms race, and no one filter rule or simple set of rules is going to hold out for long. Sorry!

(I really should go through my ax pictures and post some more than this) So, I met @strider-inquire at AX. And by met, I mean I was with my buddies and we were going to go to a panel, and I also was a little scared to approach him at any other time in the hopes of actually getting to know him.

This guy was the luckiest catch I have gotten so far. I used an incense and just about immediately this blastoise popped up on my bed. I'm not sure what the circle fully means when you throw a poke ball, but I am pretty sure that a large red circle does not mean that it is going to be easy to catch. I managed to get it on my first try.
