Sooo at the beginning of the year I started making a magazine that documented the musical journey of Seventeen and then they announced their comeback and everything turned out pretty convenient.
Then, I started working at the same time and I stopped for a while since I already had kind of an artist block 'cause there was so much info to accommodate and I wanted it to not be so long, but somehow I managed (maybe it was the power of love). It's still kinda long though.
Give it a shot and share if you like it:

Coming back from death to make some points about Daredevil: Born Again.
Sooo I just finished watching the S2 finale. Honestly episode 7 was one of the best of the season FOR ME.
But some people are diminishing great things that happened both in season 1 & 2 just because the las episode was really chaotic and left many things unresolved (which might be on purpose since there will be a season 3).
I have some observations to make mostly about S2 (spoilers ahead):
• The reason why Fisk gets to be on a beach "free" is because they are trying to break the cycle everyone has been complaining on (me included since at this point Fisk was just pathetic).
Matt says so himself. That even if he takes him to prison again Fisk will start comploting with anyone who is willing and the cycle starts again.
Matt was never going to kill Fisk and as long as Fisk was on NYC he was never going to stop. We saw Matt trying to do everything to stop him and it didn't work. So he was exiled from the city he loves (toxic love) and yes he has money but literally lost everything else. And I guess there will be more serious consequences if he ever tries anything.
I'm not saying that the people who were brutally murdered by Fisk do not deserve justice but that deal was the best way to stop Kingpin without killing him.
We have been with Matt for long enough to expect this kind of thing from him. So I don't get it when people say it doesn't make sense.
• As for other characters such as Buck I'm guessing that he is either in prison (maybe different from the one they put the AVTFF agents in) or Fisk also got him a deal. We will know more in S3 since he is confirmed to appear. So chill people. Btw I LOVED the scene where he kills Daniel, THE CONFLICT, the look in his eyes. He really liked him :c
• I don't really know what to say about Heather or Daniel. They were filler characters, in a way yes. But also I think they were used to reflect some things of real life in the same way they use the AVTFF agents (FUCK ICE).
I tried to feel sad for Daniel but he knew what he was getting into, he just turned a blind eye to all the messed up things that Fisk was doing and enjoyed all the benefits. I did liked his character (that doesn't mean I supported him). I bet there's a lot of Daniels out there in the real world.
As for Heather, well it was obviously ment to be a messy character. She was brought by the new writters and once the OG writters took over I guess they just tried their best. She felt very realistic, very human in a messed up way. Went through something extremely traumatic (MUSE) that got her spiralling into something dark and twisted all because she never admitted that she needed help (which is ironic since she is a psychologist) (but also reveled that maybe she wants to dive into evilness with or without mask). Most of her scenes involved lots of out of balance camera work to represent her mind and I liked that. Let's not forget that Matt ('cause he is no saint) was a terrible boyfriend. She is a lamp character, a good one if that is possible. I also think there is lots of Heathers out there.
• Now Karen. Sweet and murderous Karen.
I know many people don't ship him with Matt or Daredevil. Some ship her with Frank and some just straight up hate her for no reason. Whatever. I do like her. Daredevil is not even a romance show anyways so stop letting the shipping get in your way of enjoying good media.
Many complained that she was reduced to being Daredevil's girlfriend and I mean in a way the public in the tv show did... Sort of. But she is obviously not. She has proven over and over again that she gets shit done and yes sometimes she ends up exposed to danger and someone has to save her. I mean, she lives in a world where a blind man "sees" so she gets to be in distress.
She was out there, in wigs (iconic), afraid and not stepping back despite the fact that she was in disadvantage most of the time. She is a character that has gone through it and has every right to be angry and act even angrier. She really is a journalist at heart.
I would've liked for her and Heather to talk a little about the traumatic experience of shooting someone to death. They both definitely need more women in their inner circle.
I did liked their interaction in the questioning room. They were both rage baiting each other (dissing the shortcomings of a man -matt- in a relationship) until there was literally blood.
I think there was a wasted opportunity between Jessica and Karen. I just know they would have a really nice chat with each other.
• In general, the interaction between female characters was lacking and as a woman, it is depressing. They tried to give us something between Bb and Karen (too little) and Vanessa and Heather but since Heather was messy it just wasn't enough.
• And Vanessa. Oh Vanessa. What they did to her.
There were moments that made me think she was worse than Fisk. She was manipulative and made a weapon out of it (Poindexter is a PROOF). I even DARED to think that she didn't love Fisk as much as he loved her. I don't know man, they were really weird as a couple (to me) it felt more like obsession and codependency than love.
Anyways I wish they hadn't killed her, until the ceremony I really thought she was alive. She was used as a way to punish Fisk for his "New York Savior" delusion. If she had survive the attack and surgery things would've gone differently. I just feel it was the easy way out. And they took it. She did encourage Fisk in all his delusion (in a desire of power and partnership I guess) so it's not like she didn't had it coming. Specially since Pointdexter was behind the attack. And the fact that Fisk became over protective and didn't trusted her didn't help.
• And Pointdexter. Bullseye. If being lost was a person.
There must be some analysis on his character somewhere in this site and why soooo many people like him (besides the fact that he is a man. A hot one.)
I enjoy him a lot this season. More than usual. He felt like a wet puppy who knows is in trouble, doesn't quite understands why. He really tried this season. He knows he crossed a line, he FINALLY realized that there is more to his skills that just being ordered around or being driven by madness (I know he is messed up but follow me please). By the looks of it by the end of S2 he got a job (he will end up in trouble which makes sense since he is a villain).
However something really interesting with him is how he dealed with ¿guilt? ¿Inner conflict? ¿Realizing that he was manipuled? He was definitely going through it in a more self-destructive way than other seasons. When Matt is reminiscing a case he had with Foggy while Pointdexter throws an unexpected monologue I just felt like he was begging to be helped or even "absolved" (they were in a church for gods sake) (I LOVED THAT SCENE) and when Karen hold the gun to his head and he says THANK YOU?!?! I just think he never ever imagined that he could "do good" with his skills because everyone always tag him as a monster (in a way he is).
He might still be a villain (he has certainly commit terrible acts) but I know what I saw. He will start to develop his own twisted form of a moral code. And I can't wait to see what he gets out of... Having a conscience.
Overall it was messy, and obviously not perfect since there is a lot going on with producers, writters and overall legal stuff, etc. BUT since a lot of people were trashing the show I just felt the need to be more objective.
The episodes were intense and opened the door to many of possibilities in the Marvel Universe. Let's hope for the best.
Now days people give hate away so easy it makes me mad so I wrote all of this in free periods of time. I saw people complaining about not being "realistic" and the tv show is about a blind man who can see and is a vigilante... Like c'mon.
If anyone read all of this may your god bless you and I would love to keep talking about it because I'm pretty sure I left many important things out.
obsessed with how the artful dodger has a ‘feisty’ female main character who says radical things like “maybe patients should be asleep during surgery” and “dirty water makes people sick” that make the male doctors think she’s INSANE
