The fastest way to accomplish The Project is to cease being afraid of The Project. The Project cannot maim you. The Project cannot kill you. The Project is more afraid of you than you are of it. It is okay if The Project turns out differently from how it was in your head, and it is okay if it has flaws. You are capable of engaging with The Project.
I know how everything looks right now. It's scary, and it's a lot, with all the information that seems to be coming out every day at this point. It's very overwhelming, I know. I'm giving a huge shoutout to @cairoblair and her updates for keeping me from crashing out on the daily at this point lol
But just remember to take a break. You can't fight for our puppy boy to come home if you're burnt out and anxious all the time. Take a walk, get some fresh air, get a snack, something. Don't give this all your energy, or else you'll have nothing else to give.

In China, "under the PRC Civil Code, companies have a legally protected reputation. If a news outlet, blogger, influencer, or another company publishes false statements that damage a company's reputation, the company can file a civil lawsuit." We have to trust in the fact that Infold's legal department is mobilizing.
To my understanding, DO NOT MOVE TO CN APPS. Their media (RedNote, Weibo, etc) is highly controlled. We have the best chance of success on our own apps (X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, etc.) We are already trending on X.
Our goal is to flip the narrative. Show why they are incorrect. Prove that they're spreading misinformation about Valko and LADS. We bring the receipts. What they printed, next to what's verifiably true. Keep it straight-forward, to the point, and undeniably factual.
This cannot be rushed—it could backfire immensely. We cannot go against their government because it could negatively affect the CN players. The problem needs to be highlighted as “a danger to the positive view of China” from foreign players.
From a user on X: Bringing the importance of Chinese culture and tradition abroad, is the key part of all of this. It is our only leverage. We need to mention our only wish is for the company to keep being able to spread Chinese culture. We need to show them how we engaged with Chinese culture, and the charity we did in the name of the character we wish to have back, so that the company can continue.
This is vital, but it is delicate. Don't hesitate to message me here or on X if you need guidance. I will still be updating you as I get more information.

Here is why Valko is coming back.
The Cancellation
Now when Infold announced Valko they were adamant about releasing him until that very suddenly changed. We all know about 731 so I won’t get into that. BUT people were concerned about this in fear that the Chinese government would shut Infold down or force them to keep Valko cancelled.
If that were to happen Infold would be long gone by now. And I mean like almost immediately. And if the government had told them to keep Valko cancelled they would have responded to us by now and told us it wasn’t possible. Ignoring a protest this size for no reason would only cause a bigger mess for them.
PR and the reception of Valko.
At the time that Valko was cancelled most people were pretty on the fence about him or just weren’t that loud about their love for him. Not louder than the haters were anyway. The most viral things about him from global were the memes. This is why I very highly doubt that they expected this response. They cancelled him for damage control without knowing just how massive this would become. In just a few days he went from being the least popular love interest to a character known by people who haven’t even heard of the game before. It’s the best uno reverse that any of us have ever seen.
With the amount of attention now on Infold and their horrible blunder, refusing to release Valko would be company suicide. They would lose players and the general respect of most people in the gaming community. It would go even more viral than it already is considering that multiple news outlets and content creators have talked about this already. Their reputation would be ruined.
They have the eyes of the whole world on them. That is a company’s wet dream to capitalise on.
Money (of course)
With the amount of people who have spoken up, blasted every social media platform, email and comment section, they know what is in this for them. They would be more than aware of the drastic drop in revenue between Xavier’s KOD rerun and Zayne’s GOA rerun. That isn’t something a company can simply ignore. And of course there is the website of Valko supporters summing up their total spending which adds up to millions btw. They would never risk losing that much revenue. It would be mental. And then there are the people donating to wolf conservations, adopting wolves, naming a STAR after Valko and making billboards. If people can spare enough money for all of this, imagine how much they could have to spare on their game especially now that everyone LOVES Valko.
The Story (and more money)
Love and Deepspace is a game that has always been HEAVILY story driven. From the main story to the characters memories, anecdotes, myths, and the world underneath, there is so much time and money put into it’s creation. It is all intricately weaved and intertwined. And I haven’t even mentioned the 3D animation, mocap and voice acting. Not only is that hard to delete but it is hard to financially recover from. Valko has been planned from the very start and that is incredibly obvious just from observing the games most basic tools and the UI. He has been planted from the beginning, his roots run deep in this story and it’s future. Ripping that out would be HELL for the creative team. Not only emotionally devastating but just nearly impossible. How do you explain the absence of such a crucial part of a story? It’s like ripping a cog out of a machine and expecting it to still run perfectly fine.
In conclusion
There are of course other pieces of this puzzle but I think this covers the most important ones. When you take all of these things into consideration it becomes rather clear. Valko is the only thing that can save Infold right now. Not only save them, but return them to the success that they once were.
I'm tagging literally every fandom that I've ever been a part of in an attempt to garner more outreach for this.
If you haven't heard, a romance/otome game called Love and Deepspace is facing a lot of backlash right now. The company, Infold, was advertising a new love interest named Valko, but ended up completely cancelling his release barely a week after his reveal due to a very loud minority in China who was protesting his existence.
So now, the global players have banded together in an attempt to get Valko returned to the game. If anyone would like to contribute to this fight and show support, even in a small way, please consider signing this petition! It's at almost 201k signatures in less than three days!

Actionable Ideas for Challenging Infold Over Valko's Release
A lot of LADS fans are really upset over Infold's decision to shelve Valko. This is my attempt at creating action items for fans wanting to do something but are unsure where to start.
Here are some methods for giving Infold feedback:
Sign this petition and this petition
Reply to their posts on X (Twitter)
Comment on their Instagram posts
Comment on their Facebook posts
Comment on their YouTube videos
Join their official Discord Server and voice your dissatisfaction
Leave a 1-star review on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store
Complete the survey in the Love and Deepspace app by selecting the box/pencil icon in the top right corner of the home screen
"Suggest" Valko's release in the Love and Deepspace app by going to Settings > More > Support, then select "Suggestion"
(If you want to be slightly passive-aggressive) On 9 July, go to Settings > More > Support, then select "Bug Report" and fill out the report stating that the promised Valko content is missing
Remember: if we want Infold to listen to us, we MUST remain civil and demonstrate our affection for the game. I highly doubt they will be intimidated by non-CN players, which means we are held to a different standard. What is effective for them will not be effective for us.
With that said, remember these do's and dont's:
Do repeatedly submit/post/send your feedback over the next few weeks. Email them today, in a few days, on 9 July, and in the weeks after. Post on their social media every day. Overwhelm them and show them this isn't going to go away over a few free Wishes.
Do prepare to CONTINUE submitting/posting/sending your feedback over the next few months. Infold needs to see that we won't let this issue go. Schedule emails to be sent to them over the next 3 months. Draft X posts today and copy and paste them to post in a few months time. Draft your long-form in-app feedback in preperation for the update and the upcoming banners. Create reminders to check and comment on their posts weekly. Don't let them get comfortable. Be a dog with a bone (lol).
Do maintain a polite tone in your feedback (even when you are issuing a threat like leaving the game).
Do specify your current disappointments, long-term criticisms, and expectations for the future of the game should you continue to play.
Do clearly isolate your long-term issues with the game from the current issue of Valko's release. Make it clear that those issues are not resolved by delaying or permanently canceling Valko's debut.
Do talk positively about whatever you can (ie. enjoying other LIs, enjoying the content of the Main Story itself, appreciating the worldbuilding, etc). This may feel difficult, but it demonstrates that you are a passionate player. Infold can assume that a player so invested in the game would need something drastic to push them to leave.
Don't use profanity.
Don't reference CN players.
Don't bring up Infold's past mistakes. We need to stay focused on the current issues.
Don't criticize anything about Valko's teased content. This one may be unpopular, I know. If Infold is pulling back Valko's release, I don't think it's likely that they will be willing to invest any more time and money into his development. If they continue to get more and more criticisms about him and don't care to change anything about him, they will never release him. I'm not minimizing any fan's concerns; I'm suggesting we choose a priority.
If you are unsure where to start, here are some talking points:
Express your excitement over Valko (bonus points if you give reasons why). Did you come back from a long hiatus for him?
Express your disappointment over not having Valko in the game. How will it impact your enjoyment of the game?
Describe how you prepared for his anticipated arrival.
• In-game (farm for dias, bought packs, etc)
• On your devices (created storage space, bought a new device, etc)
• Financially (budgeted for buying packs upon his release, etc)
Describe how you engaged in fandom around Valko. Did you create fanart, fanfiction, or other fanworks? How much were you consuming fanworks showcasing him? Demonstrating how beloved he was before any real content of his being released indicates a warm reception if/when he is released.
What are the current issues you experience with the game? Be specific. Describe exactly how they impact your gameplay. Suggest a concrete way those issues could be resolved. Assert that Valko's release being postponed or canceled will not resolve these issues.
Express concern for the changes to their planned story arc his absence would create. Question if those changes would be as enjoyable as their original plan.
(If you're feeling up to it) Acknowledge the amount of time, effort, and money that must have gone into creating Valko. Let them know it would disappoint you to see it go to waste.
Infold made a terrible decision. We need to take action and let Infold know that a large portion of the LADS fanbase wants Valko to be released at some point. Let's try to remain positive where we can, engage in positive fandom, and do our best to make our voices heard by Infold.
