i mean.......you know my vote ;)
yet another reason to vote senshi: his english voice actor is a valued tumblr citizen!!!!!!!!
Does…
Does he know about this? Should I be scared?
that IS his voice actor
I can't argue with that.
Vote for Senshi.
so the synopsis of The Ring is: you will die 7 days after watching this videotape. my question is does that apply to rewatching the tape. let's say I watch the tape, wait 6 days, and watch it again. does the timer reset to 7 days? can I do this indefinitely? can I become functionally immortal by watching the evil videotape on a weekly basis?
I require the film where someone decides this means they are functionally immortal for 6 days after watching the tape so seeks it out before going on a series of utterly batshit suicide missions. The tape keeps trying to do creepy crap around them and they're just like "I have 3 days 12 hours left to do this prison break so you're not even on my top 10 concerns, either distract this guard for me or go do something about that hair while you're waiting"
The ghost is so baffled and has no idea how to explain that's not how any of this works that it does save them a couple times while trying to get this across, thus convincing them the theory has been validated
Modern AU Holmes and watson being in a QPR (Holmes is aroace, Watson is allo) and they’re legally married because it just makes sense logistically, but they’re not in a romantic or sexual relationship so Watson sometimes goes out to find casual partners, and he keeps having to explain that yes, he’s married, no, he’s not cheating on his husband, because he and his husband never have sex because his husband is not into that and that’s just not how their relationship is.
And it gets kind of annoying to keep having to explain this to people (who are of course skeptical because he could just be bullshitting) and eventually Holmes records a video of himself saying “Hello, I am John’s husband. You have my full permission to sleep with him because I am not at all interested in doing so.” John plays the message for his dates and they think it’s hilarious.
Also if any of John’s dates expresses even the slightest hint that they think he should leave his husband because he’s not getting any sex from him, he immediately ends the date and goes home.
In elementary it’s basically this but it’s reversed, Holmes is the one going out and having to show people a video from Watson saying “Yes, I am his wife, no, he’s not cheating on me, we’re only married for legal purposes and I have no interest in sleeping with this man.”

This was a lovely little thing to hop into after finishing last Summer after The Beekeeper's Picnic.
I spent a while debating whether Mycroft Holmes is a jam first or a cream first kind of scone eater.
Let me tell you, I've taken lots of vacations by myself, and I've also taken lots of vacations with other people, and by far vacationing solo is the easiest, most stress-free vacation you can imagine. There's some kind of societal stigma against this. Ignore this. Vacationing by yourself is amazing. There is zero negotiation or compromise. You do exactly what you want to do when you want to do it. You eat whatever you want to eat, whenever you want to eat it. You pursue whatever tourist attraction you want, or none at all. It is the purest release from all obligations and responsibilities. You don't need to worry about whether anyone else is walking faster than you or slower than you and you've lost them in a crowd, did they want to do something different, have you railroaded them into doing what you want to do?
And it's easier to buy solo tickets to things. It's easier to squeeze into crowded bars. Everything about it is just so incredibly relaxing. Don't let society talk you out of it. It's obviously good to socialize and have friends and family who you want to hang out with and see, etc., etc., and it's okay if traveling solo just doesn't appeal to you at all. I'm just saying, I was just on vacation with people, and I had a great time, but we were out to dinner at the hotel restaurant and at the table next to us was a woman by herself having a glass of wine and eating spinach and artichoke dip for dinner while she read a novel and I was just like, honestly, I know that kind of dinner and it's so great lol. If you've ever wondered what it's like to travel solo, it's like that: dip for dinner and a glass of wine and a book lol

stop letting miserable people on the internet convince you that you must have a concrete, well-constructed opinion on everything that has ever existed.
