Hi friends🍀 I decided to redo my intro post with some more info and updates, I’m really wanting to connect with some people with similar interests and make some new fandom friends! I’m still getting the hang of tumblr formatting so pls bear with me on that 😭

About me! – I have a bachelor’s degree in sociology am currently a grad student working towards my masters of social work! I currently work in a library, but my hope is to one day work with victims of violent crime. I am personally disabled (I have hEDS) and a disability advocate, and I care a lot about many issues, such as disability, women’s rights, LGBTQIA+, etc etc. I use my favorite media, Tumblr, art, and occasionally writing to decompress from my work and classes. – Generally, I can be pretty introverted, but I love making new internet friends or mutuals with interesting content to share interests with! I’m hoping to post more art and general thoughts about my fav fandoms, and maybe I’ll try to get back into writing someday. – I cannot enjoy things casually for the life of me, and I conjure up an OC or a self insert in my head for basically every piece of media I get into. I don’t usually post them because I feel like most aren’t particularly interesting in that, but I might post those in the future!

Right now, I really love: – The Pitt (my current newest obsession) o I really love Dennis, and all the Pittlings, and Al Hashimi is really growing on me. I’m sorry in advance but I am NOT a Hucklerobby girly (I may actually make a post about my thoughts on that someday). I do love several of the other ships! Someone put me on to Santos x Al Hashimi recently and I can’t say I hate it! I’m shipping everybody with everybody. Maybe I’ll make a separate post about those preferences too! – Criminal Minds (an all time favorite) o Call me basic, but I am absolutely a Spencer girly. Spencer Reid and Penelope Garcia may be my favorite fictional characters of all time. I’m not a big shipper in this fandom, but I’m a Jemily fan for sure. – Grey’s Anatomy (been obsessed since I was a teen, I can never escape it) o This one has stuck with me for a WHILE. Amelia Shepherd my beloved, the only reason I still watch the new seasons. Nobody slander the better Shepherd in my presence. – Bridgerton o Bridgerton is just so fun and pretty to look at, what can I say! I love Fran and I cannot wait for the next season! – I have recently started reading ACOTAR as well! o This is still new to me and I know the author is a little controversial. I don’t have many solid opinions about it yet, but it is a fun read for sure!

You’ll likely see me posting: – fandom content; thoughts about certain themes, amateur character analysis, ship stuff, x reader thoughts, maybe a self insert OC or two! – possibly the occasional fanart, when I have time! – mood boards, music, and cute little aesthetic-y things! I do love making mood boards and playlists for my fav characters and my own OCs – possibly connections from my fav medias with sociology and social work topics!

Thinking about myself and the fact that I am a chronic pain patient and constantly get attached to characters who struggle with drugs and/or chronic pain, i.e. Spencer Reid, John Carter, Kerry Weaver, Frank Langdon, Viktor from Arcane, etc. I think I know that, having chronic pain, it would be so easy to turn to pain medication. And I think seeing these characters and loving these characters is a big part of why I have managed to stay away from it. I don’t know what my point is here, I just wanted to get the thoughts out. :) images mostly just for vibes

I’ve been watching the Hunger Games movies again and of course that got my brain braining about a Hunger Games AU with the Pitt characters, but I cannot for the life of me decide who to put in what district. I want to get opinions on who we think would fit each district and what role they’d have in. I’ve attached a screenshot of my current list and I reallyyyy want thoughts on this!

Ok so obviously Ogilvie is NOT our fav guy so far, however after this week’s episode I do think we’re seeing him learning a bit, and realizing that the ER is not the walk in the park he seemed to expect. But this particular image from the episode

Makes it look like this man does NOT play about Whitaker 😭 and all of those scenes with the shark orthopedic guy. I think that could be a really interesting dynamic to explore with these two. Ogilvie as like the asshole little brother who’s not playing about his big brother. Do we see the vision or am I delusional 🫣

Garcia was way too harsh on Javadi. She's still a medical student, she's not even a doctor yet. Someone should be monitoring her at all times. Any mistake she makes says more about her supervisors than her. Again, they should be monitoring her. I get it's a difficult situation, but she doesn't have an MD after her name for a reason.

EXACTLY EXACTLY let these characters be bisexual!! Or pansexual!!! Or any other identity besides just gay or straight! Some of us online are getting way too comfortable with bi/panphobia and bi/pan erasure and we need to fix that.

I believe that some of us also need to understand that not shipping a mlm pair for whatever reason or not headcanoning a character as gay is not inherently homophobic and instead need to focus on the things that ARE actually questionable in the media and fandom content we consume

I would also like to add that some of the arguments for Dennis being fully gay are based almost ENTIRELY on prejudiced or outdated stereotypes for how gay men should act or look and I think that’s equally problematic. I’m just saying.
