Dude. All I’m telling you is nothing will ever be worse than my picture day for sophomore year in high school. Not even the memes. I was ugly crying and having a hysterical breakdown when they took my photo and also mid-yelling at the photographer because at the time I thought my life was over and I was not in the mood to be told to smile and then I couldn’t retake it later. I feel bad for that photographer honestly. Also my hair was greasy. And now I’m forever frozen there in like a thousand yearbooks and also my lanyard that I had to wear for the rest of the year (I’m not face revealing over this, but you just need to believe me, it’s bad).

Also the rest of my photos I am not exactly photogenic either.

Can you please tell me what you meant by that au with prince Etho and Joel helping him get ready because it’s still on my mind! Like I just know there’s a whole thing behind it and I need to know (unless you still sick/don’t want to).

Also the donkey in the pfp full drawing kind of looks like it has a horn if you squint, so you really did predict the future!

hiiii cobl! im glad u like! gah i wish i had a very well constructed plot for this but i've been using it as my little historically inaccurate playground to sit around and imagine with so there's a ton of vibes and not a lot of plot at all LOLLL.

buuutt basically Joel's a sort of spy/assasin for a rebellion growing in the court to dethrone etho's family and place another line on the throne. and thats why he's tryin his best to get as close to etho as possible through this servant position. (idk the exact historically accurate term for someone that helps royalty get ready but LOL)

And Etho used to be pretty sneaky growin up, used to be social and a kind of a prankster. His parents are sorta stuck up and awful so this was his rebellion. They taught him to be afraid of everyone, everything in the outside world (also why they're not that good rulers lol) but etho really wanted to explore it anyways. well until there was an attempt on his life (by ppl in the court involved in the rebellion in fact) that left him properly burnt and scarred all over his right side of his face and body. and now he's got major anxiety and paranoia about everything and anyone and finds it really hard to trust anyone but his family even if he doesn't particularly like them.

so thats where the smefoing occurs LOL. joel gives etho space and only pushes where etho can handle and earns his trust slowly (and begins to feel horrible about how he's misusing it even if he's still loyal to the cause), he kinda inspires etho to be braver and talk to more people and go out into the kingdom itself which makes him more aware of how bad the common people are being treated. And Etho let’s himself fall for Joel but Joel is too guarded to fall for etho LOL. Etho makes Joel feel like a real person and not just a disposable spy and Joel starts really really liking etho, but that makes him scared cuz those aren’t thoughts he should be entertaining
