Oh i fucking love peafowls they're one of the archetype *I* wanna play.

My own personal twist on peafowl play is straight up exhibitionism honestly. I enjoy the idea of being a paraded gorgeous special bird that people show off at parties. I enjoy the idea of being taught tricks to pose or serve as decor in an almost objectification kink. The scene in wing of fire where Glory served as living decor has had... a little bit of an impact on me. I do however enjoy the idea of being a little bit of a cunt about it too. A peacock isn't necesarily a thing you can train like a dog. It does do a little bit of what it wants, and it shouldn't be touched. I like being observed from afar, and in turn being "allowed" as a creature that is not human and therefore does not need to apply to human standards, to watch in return. The pretty decor peacock gets to be a little bit of a voyeur too.

I also enjoy serving as a deity stand in due to being a special, pretty bird. This one can be done with many, many birds and mythologies, but it's a way I like the peacock archetype. I like to both be an animal that is seen as not human, and therefore not talked to, not asked on its opinion, etc, but also a stand in for something greater that you spoil and leave out offering too, that is praised for something greater.

If you really want a bad ending for this scenario though, many special animals that are spoiled for a deity do end up sacrificed for it. It's a fun end to go both in praise and then heavy and dark masochistic scenario.

You can also obviously soil your peacock, it is in fact a bird, and easily overpowered if you'd really wish. A peacock, like the swan, has a pride that is fun to break. You can pluck all the ornate feathers from your peafowl and leave it out to be a simple mediocre hen. The heavy trailing plumage also makes it an easy enough prey to bully. I kinda like the idea of someone dressed up in so many pretty things that it functionally serves as bondage and removes its ability to flee if something wants to "play" with it. You can have very fun interactions between the pretty haughty peacock, and the house mutt that decides suddenly it wants a go at the pretty bird.

One thing i like about birdplay is the idea of being finnicky and hard to predict. A lot of ppl have a hard time reading birds, and a lot of birds are distrustful and prone to dislike strangers. I like the "allowance" playing a Very Big Macaw or Some Sort Of Hawk brings to just kinda being some beast that likes 2 People and wants to bite everyone else. Me 🤝 ponyplayers who are horses with homicidal intents toward any unauthorized fucking things.

For the love of god, praise and reassure your Dom after sex. I cannot tell you the amount of times I’ve told a Dom they did a good job after sex and they’re like “???? Why are you saying that???” It’s INSANE. Aftercare goes both ways! Praise! Your! Dom! Tell them the specific things you liked! Tell them how hot they were! Tell them that you appreciate them taking control! It goes such a long way, trust me.
