in early 00s the average age trans women started HRT was in their 40s, and while yes I am very glad this age is lowering, it also results in posts like this which are very aggravating to hear by anyone who started later lol

I started HRT at 26 and became literally unrecognizable in just three years. I've met people who knew me in high school who don't recognize me at all now. Full on reintroducing themselves. People I show pre-transition pictures to are sometimes not sure the person in the picture is related to me.

19 isn't too late, it's enviably early.

The Israeli occupation asked us to leave our area as soon as possible because they going to invade it by land, but we didn't leave. Then the shells rained down on us, so we quickly got out and miraculously escaped death. I can't believe I'm still alive, but the worst thing is that now we're sitting in the street and we didn't take clothes, food, or anything from our tent with us, and we don't know where to go or what to do!!! 😭

How bad it is to sit in the street under the bombing and fear, and worse than that is that we do not have a tent now or a place to sit, and worse than that also is that we do not have food or clothes now, as we left everything in the tent and fled on our own!!!😭

Because we didn't find a place to sit .We stayed and sat in the school tonight. I cannot describe to you how bad this feeling is. I have never lived a worse night in my life than this. It was very cold and there were rats everywhere We had no food with us.. We did not have blankets. I lived the worst night of my life yesterday!!!😭😭
