Server down, not any longer. Today at #comconsultants (complete computing consultants we were tasked with re-instating a single dc environment where the #exchange #server had failed, #DNS was not working and #Activedirectory had stopped recognising its #domain. First point of call was to get the server back up and running. Constantly stuck at applying #computer settings... and #unresponsive to for end user when accessing #shares. A reboot of the server into #safemode was the first step to disable exchange services to enable the server to boot to login screen. Thereafter it was identified that #IPv6 had been disabled on #network card, re-enabled to bring back up exchange services. Various additional errors pointing at Volume Shadow copy, DNS, active directory. All tracked down and #resolved one by one. Eventually after much troubleshooting the server for #Caledonia TV is fully functional. The image below shows the event log full of errors prior to resolution and after with just informational logs.
