This is modern poetry
whyâre giraffes so violent
most big herbivores are, frankly. if you have a pretty steady supply of food and donât have to worry about missing a hunt and starving to death, you can afford to throw your weight around more and generally be more aggressive!
thatâs why the most dangerous big animals in the world are almost all herbivores.
this is also why walking right up to these things in Jurassic Park would have been a fantastically bad idea
Sauropods would be fucking TERRIFYING and it annoys the hell out of me that media constantly portrays them as passive and harmless. That Indominus from Jurassic World would have been SLAUGHTERED against an Apatosaurus, let alone a whole HERD of them

interesting!
Actually I think theyâll be ok đ
Not everywhere is handling this as shittily as the US, ya dingus
#this is important because we have to remember #we have to remember it *did not have to be as bad as it was*
New Zealand has now completely eradicated COVID-19 - no active cases and no new infections. (Theyâre not alone - Iceland did it too.) They are safe and back to normal life. No more lock downs. No more social distancing. Stores, restaurants, public transportation - all fully reopened. Weddings, graduations, and birthday parties are once again being celebrated. Their leaders are now shifting their focus to economic recovery. And they achieved it with just 1,504 cases and 22 deaths reported nationally.Â
Many have applauded the announcement, including Helen Clarke, a former prime minister of New Zealand, who posted on Twitter: âClear leadership & an engaged public have produced this result.â
New Zealand had 0.45 deaths per 100,000 people, and a 1.5% fatality among COVID-19 cases. By contrast, the US has had 35.05 deaths per 100,000 people and a 5.6% fatality among cases. [source] And thatâs just so far (6/13/20) - it will get worse, with the pandemic still raging and infections still spiking. Â
I have seen too many people resigned to this dismal response as unquestionable fact, saying things like âthereâs nothing to be doneâ or âwe just have to tough it outâ or âAmericaâs had the best pandemic response in the worldâ. One person asked me, âtheyâre doing everything they can, what more do you want?â This. This is what I want.  Competent leadership that makes fact-based decisions and values expertise. Strong leadership that values human life over money. Decisive leadership that acts to mitigate a crisis, not inflame it.
Get your coffee, tie your hair back and get to work. Youâve got goals to achieve
Oh no Iâve been found out
âand the universe saidâŚâ
Just updating the world that Iâve tried every self help tactic to be more productive and feel better, and the only one that robustly works is operating on spite. So go work on that project/assignment youâve been procrastinating on, just so that the person who you hate the most doesnât end up getting acclaim for it.Â
I recently bought a summer dress online that Iâve been tracking down for the lowest prices for the last few months. In August, the dress costed $64. Last week, I got it for $6 on summer inventory clearance sales.Â
To the company/brand: if you can afford to sell your $64 dresses for $6 without going bankrupt, JUST because the weather changed, then clearly your dress wasnât worth $64 in the first place. You are a fraud and overcharge gullible customers for your âbrandâ name.
To other consumers: That dress isnât worth $64. Even if it was made with utmost care and quality materials, it wouldnât be worth $64. Its worth is $6, but the price for having a re cognizable name printed on it is $58. So be wary when boujee people try to tell you they only buy branded clothes because of the quality - like nah you ainât buying for quality you buyinâ cuz you be wantin to flaunt that label.

I. Love this.Â
Love it.
Oh my god
yes.
This is it, I found it, the funniest post on this entire godsforsaken website
I will never get over how brilliant this comic is. The artist could have just drawn a single image in response, but instead we have this masterpiece. The world doesnât deserve @iguanamouth.
Once you become a certain age, it is your responsibility to unlearn behaviors that hinder your growth as a person.
Man I cannot stress this enough. The âthis is how I am, take it or leave itâ attitude is an act of immaturity. We all have toxic traits that we need to work on and as an adult itâs our responsibility to recognize the damage that they can do to the ones we love. We all need to put in more effort in becoming better individuals.
