Welcome to my blog! This is where I document the life and times of my Final Fantasy 14 characters. I have a many 14 characters which will all be featured here to some degree, but with a focus on my main WoL, Sinaan Dakora, my Aura Xaela! I’m mainly a PS4 player so 99% of my screenshots will be vanilla, unless I decide to crack open my dusty PC copy that can barely run haha. I also draw and will try to draw my WoL and OCs a lot even though I’m shy to share! FAQs and more info under the cut.
Eventually I plan to write out bios for all of them, but this will be my starting point, beginning with Sinaan.
Tsinaan’s look varies a lot between expansions, so I’ll differentiate her looks in the tags! Also, I’ll answer some quick easy questions in this pinned post for easy access:
What is/are Sinaan’s main class(es)?
I do them all, but her canon classes are AST (main, HLR), DNC (DPS), and GNB (TNK.) She started as an Arcanist/Summoner/Scholar so that will be referenced too. I’m totally gonna talk about her thoughts on all classes, and everything that being a WoL entails.
How do I pronounce her name?
Sinaan: Si-nahn, [Short ‘si’ as in sip, long ‘nahn’ like naan bread. Sometimes shortened to Si, pronounced ‘see’, Sin, or Sina.]
Dakora: Da-kohr-ah [kohr like ‘core.’]
Is Sinaan your only Warrior of Light?
She is my canon WoL, and in her timeline she carries the title of Warrior of Light/Darkness. However, she is not the only one influenced by the Echo. My fiancee has FF14 OCs who are strongly tied to Tsinaan, and they have also been given the Echo to varying degrees. Tsinaan’s Echo is the most powerful or ‘complete’ of the group, but has the most drastic side effects.

i think everyone who is worried about their skill doing content in ff14 should watch an ultimate world race. if you have ever felt like shit for not immediately understanding a mechanic you've never seen before, you will be Spiritually Healed watching the absolute best players in the world spend multiple hours and 20 pulls just to make it 25 milliseconds further into a fight. you will watch people just completely fuck mechanics that they have successfully done 30 pulls in a row for no other reason than they're tired and their brain shidded. no matter what your skill ceiling is, the trajectory of gaining competence follows pretty much the same arc. be soothed
in final fantasy xiv theres a healer class named Astrologian, which revolves around the mechanic of drawing tarot cards and using that to buff teammates up during fight. this is what it looks like in game. the cards revolve around a globe which the character plucks and read from.

this is urianger aurgurelt. aside from scaring the localizers so much they changed his speech from 1500-1600 english to something more modern-shakesparean, he's also voiced by KENN
KENN got his voice acting career off the ground initially back in 2004 by voicing judai the protagonist of yugioh gx

Here is what they look like almost completely finished! They will be this circle for the stickers anyway, but there will be more for the print version c:
The main border is a play on the frame around Tupsimati, found in the Waking Sands, and the tile patterns are the eye symbol some scions have as tattoos, and tiny mother crystals for the interior circle. The tile/rocks motif hearkens back to the Rising Stones base of operations.
