As a ferret owner I can confirm that my three ferrets do not give a single fuck about being held like that. A ferret WILL let you know if it doesn’t like how you’re holding it. But they like being turned into potato sacks for some reason.

beetlejuice who has a slightly odd, but wonderful smile. lips that curl unnaturally at first, seeming to pull and form a waxy looking smile- like the muscle memory for it isn’t quite there yet. who’s genuine happiness smile is different to his mischievous smirks- a grin that softens a bit over time and becomes easier to do

beetlejuice, who’s grin is toothy and wide. sharp teeth poking out of the side, but doesn’t seem menacing– just beaming. his smile pulls back a bit and you can see a flash of his gums when he’s really excited. beetlejuice, who’s nose scrunches up and squints- who has soft looking crow’s feet at the side of his eyes and raises his eyebrows to make his forehead crinkle when pleasantly surprised

wild hair that radiates an electric green, dipping into a neon highlighter colour, almost yellow when happy. hair that literally glows in the dark with joyful energy, and that puffs out and defies gravity even more when he laughs

extremely expressive hands. the kind of energy that thrums and vibrates under your fingertips wanting to get out. waving his fingers and moving his arms around in a silent rhythm of joy. bounces! moving up and down on the balls of his feet and full on jumping, making his hair flop around. hands that move around really fast and flap like a little hummingbird!

literally lifting himself off of the ground and floating in the air without noticing, only realising that he’s doing it when he bumps the ceiling or someone points it out.

beetlejuice, that can be aggressively affectionate- both in a platonic and romantic way- who giggles and grabs peoples hands and swings them along with him as he walks and spins people into hugs, lifting their feet off the ground

a laugh that he, as first, struggles to find. one of those really genuine and hearty laughs hidden underneath years of sardonic and falsely enthusiastic chuckles. one of those laughs that, on some level, sounds really strange- but the energy behind it makes it contagious. infectious laughter and deep set dimples that are there if you look beneath his stubble :)
